In case you guys have forgotten something, both Xiao Yao and Xiang Liu bith have the Gu insect in them. From what i understand of that insect it aslo manipulates your feelings. Sure XL had feelings for XY before the insect was placed but the insects also play a large role in manipulating their feelings. It pushes them to come together

If Zhou Ye wasn't his son, or they didn’t live in an era where nepotism was at it's highest, what do you think will happen to a soldier who defies military order? The least will be getting fired. Losing his life will also be on the table. As a human and a man, Zhou Ye defying military order and saving the people of Youzhou he did the right thing, but as a soldier military orders are for life. You can't simply defy them. They are military orders for a reason. If he was a jormla soldier from humble origins in that era, he would problay be exterminated with his jine clans for defying military orders. He got away with it because of his father's position.
Gen Zhou is a man i respect very much. He is a realist. My respect for him soar when he told the new king that he would be the bad guy and plan for him to become king. Because he knows that you can only become king after winning countless battles and doing questionable things. The new king has a benevolent heart, which for a king is a good thing but does not make a good war general. You need someone like Gen Zhou to be on the front line to do things that the king can't do. They complement each other

I don't think he's disabled but he's not completely abled as well. In previous episodes before Li Tian Tian appeared Linda asked him if he wanted her to set a check up for him on his leg and his wheelchair had always been around. References about his wheelchair had been made by his workers before and how it had been a while since they saw him in it. He evennonce said it's been a while since he used it himself. This goes to show he has been in a wheelchair before and that there still might be some sequelae that's why Linda asked about the appointment and also why he has the chair. Though he is currently lying about being disabled he has a history with disability.
I think he lied to keep her around ( which is quite cliche in old cdramas)

I think in Go go squid the female lead is supposed to be 20 year old overachiever and the ML is in his mid to late 20s. I guess thats why she dressed as a kid sometimes

To be honest, i cant believe the rating for this drama has gone down. It should rather go up. Though some characters are annoying the drama is good

I understand she has been alone all her life and what not but the other flower fairies in her life have been alone as well and yet some how they seem to be smarter than her who gained "intelligence " before them and had her teacher with her for a few years. I get being good and innocent and all that. They just take it a tad too far. She's had contact with the outside world through meeting all those snarky faireies who bullies her but she doesnt seem to get smarter. I get beingvtrue to yourself but one must grow up and mature at some point.
I love the XLH character it just becomes too much to swallow when she has been outside for sometime and doesnt seem to mature

This drama is very good but it has the one thing that mostly keep off xianxia dramas. An FL who thinks she can solve everything by being good and pure and naive that it turns to stupidity. Why can't they create a badass FL who in xianxia dramas who isn't so stupidly gullible and naive from the get go???
Either than that, im really happy to see DiDi's improved acting. I've liked him from the beginning and will continue to do so. Playing the devil seems to suit him very well

From the Chinese novels I've read, i noticed this as well. They don't really explain how things happen. It just goes around in circles and youre expected to figure it out yourself so im able to accept all the weird and vague parts but i understand where youre coming from as well
