I know that is one of the reason for it. The dying wish of her mother is very important. I have noticed in historical Cdrama’s that when a royal dies, it is the children’s path to go down the same destruction to obtain power. I thought since the Princess isn’t exactly Evil, she would still use her common sense . She is smart and courageous , was hoping that it would at least be different on this drama.

He does hate him, I loved how he brusjed him off when the Grand Prince tried to get him to become his person. Once NQ denied hi invitation , he sent out orders to have him killed. Well I hope the Grand Prince has a nice surprise from Ning Quee. LOL LOL

I agree Nirvana in Fire was an awesome chinese drama. I loved the story line and the actors/actresses were amazing. I loved it so much that I have already watched it twice. Willing to give it another go

Isn’t it awesome. This has become my obsession too. When a drama has my full attention and I can’t seem to get past it, I tend to watch it over and over again. Then it is out on my favorite list.

I too am getting the vibe the Princess is very attracted to Ning Que. She is way to arrogant, annoying, not intelligent and is dying to use him to her her brother on the throne. She is so blinded by her love for her brother she doesn’t see that he can never be King. He is cruel by nature because of his own cowardice.
