Disappointing
Fangs of Fortune was a show I was genuinely looking forward to. The premise was intriguing and the first episode showed promise, but the story quickly loses steam. The dialogue feels cheesy, the fight scenes are flashy but repetitive, and the writers seem to rely too heavily on music and special effects to mask weak character development. The plot is riddled with inconsistencies that make it hard to stay invested. While the soundtrack and visuals are decent, they can’t save the show. My rule of thumb is simple: if I’m not hooked within five episodes, I drop it - and sadly, Fangs of Fortune didn’t make the cut.
The fact that this show holds an 8.6/10 rating makes me question whether reviews here are truly objective, or if people are simply giving inflated scores because of their bias toward a particular actor or actress.
