On the other hand hwang min doesn't look early 20s or a teen even with styling he looks his age , if I saw him on the street I would give him a 28,29. He is supposed to be a young student but when he interacts with the teacher I can't help but find it unbelievable since they don't look too far apart in age. Anyway yeah
Ok I give up on this. I went into it with an open mind knowing that I don't usually like this type of drama but if it's a 9 I guess It was widely beloved for a reason right? Well no! After a couple of episodes these is so much ugly men and ugly drama visuals, that's not it too. Ugly men and ugly drama visuals and a confusing plot where is the time traveling element did I miss it? We start with him as a kid then he grows into an ugly random man who lives with his grandma then goes to the capital, the drama tries some very failed comedy. So counting ugly men, ugly drama visuals, confusing plot and dare I say atrocious makeup, especially on the old people you can see the cracks. Magically the ugly in this drama does not extend to the women, ha! All the women in here are absolutely stunning. All of them. So ugly men, ugly drama visuals, bad makeup, confusing plot and beautiful women paired with ugly men. You couldn't possibly Givin me a worse drama if you tried but wait a minute thats not the end the FL is apparently stupid af like she has the intelligence of a kid.. No literally she acts and thinks with the capacity of a 4 yr old kid. I will go ahead and say it this is by far the worst drama I have ever seen in my life and I didn't even manage to finish it. Oh did I also tell you that this is an insta love? Yep he sees her and boom he likes her right away no build up nothing!
So I just finished this, started good but I couldn't believe through the whole thing that the main lead was a highschooler his undereye gives his real age away, he looks more like a teacher rather than student and honestly looks close in age with the teacher. I need 30 yr olds to stop playing teenagers it's incredibly unbelievable. The first few episodes are cool with the fighting scenes but by ep 6/7 I was incredibly bored the plot is very cartoonish and the cursing get really annoying.. The episodes are just that fighting cursing repeat. I liked the last episode tho the teacher getting chased gave a thrill but that's about it. 6.5 for me
Meh this drama falls into the great visuals, both are very good looking in a model like way but I also feel very detached from their story like I don't care if they get together or not. I am not into these type of dramas I need more substance but I can see people enjoying this stuff. Not for me dnf ps how skinny is the FL I am lowekey worried 😅😭
I am doing the ultimate sacrifice of watching this drama for yangzi, I am on ep 1 now and every scene of her is superb but its li Xian rusty face that always makes want to skippppp, I am putting two fingers infront of his rusty a$$ everytime! Can't stand him at all. Don't come at me it's a very strong preference against rusty male actors. I find him extremely like extremely unattractive but here I am for my girl yangzi❤️

The double is probably my favorite historical drama.. Long ballad is also good
