I really really tried with fangs of fortune!!! Went to 30 eps but there is so much I can take of fl fainting over and over and being absolutely useless and vulnerable. How many times did she have to be saved?!? And an overpowered old ml who just never dies and his Grey hair to highlight his old age. Even the 2ml goes to overpower after becoming a demon but the FL is still fragile af. Let's also talk about the cinematography you either hate it or absolutely love it and I hated it, it was distracting me all the time.. too much is happening. The villain was the only interesting part of it and the 2fl brother arc loved it as well but other than that couldn't do it anymore. Joy of life is purely a personal taste thing I just don't enjoy male lead driven dramas to begin with, top it with the male lead being one of the least attractive male leads I have seen in cdramas plus I found the comedy part silly rather than actually funny.. I just know if the FL was this unattractive no matter how good the drama was it would not be as popular as joy of life as most people seem to be very forgiving about men looks and very
unforgiven about women looks like ancient love poetry for example. So yeah in shotu just really personal preference I like my female leads powerful or smart or both and I like my male leads eye candy with an actual 3d dimension personality and not completely overpowered. Another example is alchemy of souls I loved and rated s1 a 10 but s 2 is a 1 for me for these reason the ml became too overpowered and the FL became a pretty amnesia stricken whose only use is for romance. Being still a teenager is very different from being a 22 :) especially since the ml looks significantly older than his age in the double and the romance is very tame as well. Hope this helps but if a guy or a guy look like babies and are teens that's where I draw the line as I should ;)

Guys is this show so good to justify a romance between a then 19 yr old girl with a 30 yr old man because I am disgusted by it but a lot of you swear it's one of the best dramas out there. Is there romance and if yes is it slight or full on? Do people who generally hate weird age gaps felt comfortable watching this?

I am saying why is a minor in the first place in a romance with him? Why not have both of them adults or both minors. It's all fiction and you know what I don't mind fictional ages but what we are talking about is real ages and why was that even allowed.
