I agree with you about the ancient gods but not strong /god level warrior they can and I prefer them to be young and strong.. I don't see that as unrealistic at all, infact I wouldn't want to watch an old warrior as a main lead the perfect blend is manly but still boyish.. I don't think mature men suite costume drama too.. Xz being an ancient god is an exception tho. For eternal love I love both yang yang and yehua and there are no too pretty boy.. I wish every single actor is handsome and fit 😁

I agree that he is a bit too bulky for costume dramas and the other actor are much more attractive especially xiao zhan, however I think he is perfect for this role and brought hype from princess agent collab, he has a mellow look to his that makes me think he really is an aloof ancient being. I think a drama with the two mentioned would still be successful but wouldn't garner that much hype. Hope to see them with Zhao lying in a drama tho that would be nice
