Can people please do their research before saying stuff like this? There is a manga out already with his character..he is supposed to be much younger than yumi a man in his 20s so no he is not too young! The director didn't cast a young person playing an older character . if not him someone as young would still be casted unless you wanted someone older playing a young character which i wouldn't want to see. All the actors you mentioned are great but they simply dont fit the character. Hope that helps 😁

The character is supposed to be young . so no actors in their 30s. We will have to wait and see about his acting which is the most important thing honestly.

Sorry i couldn't read the rest of your response after i don't rate this as grooming because its fantasy. Fantasy can apply only if they are both the same age but he is stuck in that age for millenia that's the only age gap with a highschooler i will ever accept because its so outlandish but when you get a 40 yr old goblin who has lived a millennia grooming a highschool girl who stays as a highschooler who doesn't have a guardian most of the time and i call it how it is GROOMING. anything other than this are just excuses to justify said grooming .

Lee dohyun is 30 and all the people you mentioned are almost 30 too they are neither young nor rookies. The requirement for the role is not seasoned 😁 my only thing is he needs to be able to act and have a great chemistry with goeun then i am content . i don't need seasoned actors plus lee dohyun be looking rough after military

I mean i will watch it regardless of who is the ml because i have faith in my girl goeun and i want to see the end of yumi's love journey , contrary to other people i don't really care about a seasoned actor but i do care about the acting of the actor and i hope he can carry the weight of this role.
