Park Ji Hoon was brilliant in this. Poor boy couldn't catch a break. The unfairness of it all and he only wanted to be left alone. Everything snowballed just from him defending himself. I felt for him and his life was ruined. I hope part 2 it ends well. Can't wait for it.
A good drama and liked the way it moved EXCEPT the romance between the leads. Like are you serious? Hand holding is the height of it after years of stupid long looks! In 2017? Korean directors need to evolve for some of these dramas to be realistic. The two skirting about regarding their attraction to each other was stupid and even 12 or 13 year olds can do a better job and steal a kiss or two in middle school. And here we have judges who are not sure if they like each other after months amd months!
The days of stiff closed lips kissing are gone. Time for real acting for goodness' sake.
Lee Sung Min - a great actor. I hope they didn't rush his death in Reborn Rich for this one. Either way, he was spectacular in both dramas. He is so talented. Loved this so much.
As much as I loved this drama, the Directors rushed the ending in keeping with the 16 episodes. It could have stretched to 18. 1. HW never confronted his attacker 2. Hyun Mi - Dong Ki's daughter, what was her role in all of this? That was never expanded 3. Yoon Ki and Ji ya's divorce. They could have done something leading to that, seeing as Ji Ya's eggs were in that one basket 4. HW' relationship with his dad 5. Where did the grandmother disappear to? 6. The instigators of DJ's death, what happened. Show the sentencing and jail
So many loose ends.
It was a great drama.
I hope SJK is part of a drama where theres more action and not business. So many storylines around. Doesn't have to be romance. Can be legal thriller. Detective, Forensic, Doctor, something different.
lol you are funny all of the actors you mentioned are above 40Do you want them to play as a school student?did…
This is the synopsis on the male lead:
"Lee Do Hyun will play the character named JooYeo Jung who appears to be bright but has a mysterious story. He will help Moon Dong Eun in any way with her revenge."
I might not have watched 300 Kdramas but this could go either way or the usual Noona angle.
As for me listonf 25 to over 40 male leads, our beautiful actress is 40.
Grief, let's hope not another Noona repeat. Are they really short of actors who are close in ages? I could think of a few...
Gong Yoo Cha Seung-won Jung Woo-sung Song Seung-heon Jang Hyuk Ji Sung So Ji-sub Lee Byung Hun Lee Joon-gi Lee Dong-Wook Lee Seung-gi Kim Nam-gil
Too many to mention and yet we still have these below 28 year olds male leads. We get it, but it's tired. We get it that they can pull the young ones, but it's getting old.
Sometimes a realistic drama goes a long way.
Someone should repeat this sentiment with Park Min Young. There's another one...
OMG! I thoroughly enjoyed this Thriller. What a great job all the actors did. Especially the lead actress and lead actor . They had such great weird chemistry. This show pushed the boundaries of Korean TV and I won't be surprised if Koreans don't like it. Us international viewers love it. That actress was phenomenal and the lead actor, absolutely brilliant. Couldn't help but really hate him. Love is love, I guess, but Agape could not be forgiven.
10 out of 10 for me. Well doneππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎ
I binge watched every Korean thriller/crime series and am very disappointed that this wonderful series was not included in the "Must Watch series of 2022"! I came across it by accident and it never got the promotion it should have had and that is a shame as some of the ridiculous dramas get all the hype and disappoint. Such a well-acted drama by all actors, gripping storylines. I enjoyed watching this very much.
Please please heaven above, I'll be happy if there're no serious Noona romances, and let this be a script with substance, lively and animated facial expressions. I dont think we can all handle the bland ones one more time. I know I'm not.
We want murder, intrigue, drama and constant action. Please please hear our pleas.
Lastly, I challenge anyone to count the number of times the FL says "I'm Sorry " or bows down to the rich people. I wanted to throw my device out of the window with her I'm Sorrys, ffwd qhen she starts crying. A good story but dragged for too long. 12 episode dramas existed back then.
Whar irked me about this drama is how the FL is such a people pleaser and coward. Only until the end did she finally grow a backbone but the way she let the ML control her life, order her to do all sorts of things and just go along with it, made my blood boil. She brought that on herself, by putting that fiance on a pedestal and protecting him. Who does that? What an idiot. She wasn't forced. He was an even bigger coward though. She held his life in her hands with that sacrifice. I dislike martyrs.
Something about the culture that irritates me, and it's on how poor people bow down all the time to rich people and treat them like gods. I find that infuriating.
The drama went on for too long and could have been shortened without repeating same scenarios.
The FL is a great actress, but her screeching IN EVERY drama she does, makes me think twice about watching anything else she's in.
I messed up by watching Kill Me Heal Me first and her screeching was 600 decibels and i literally ffwd on some of her scenes. I couldn't handle it, so by the time Iwatched this one, I was already tired of her. But she did a good job.
SHE NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO DO KISSING SCENES better! I feel sorry for the MLs. She seemed better in To All The Guys Who Loved Me but she needs to do better
I agree with you. There was room for a story line. He gets work and lives with that woman and her family. Little Eun hae goes to school and be part of a family. They could have done more. Still beautiful
The fact that Sung Dong II is in it, means I MUST watch it. Ji Chang Wook needs a manager who'll make best role…
Melting Me Softly. Worst mistake ever! I couldnt even finish the 2nd episode as I had hopes and dreams for the drama! Like with most hopes and dreams, they died, unlike the ML and FL. That was a train wreck.
Ji Chang Wook chooses his roles himself, I don't get why some people, like you, who don't like his choices assume…
Sometimes Managers do that as in the remit of a usual Manager's job. If JCW does the choosing himself, then there's room for improvement there. In a nutshell, Sunshine, whoever does the choosing, needs to do better.
Facts. People tend to focus on the actors way too much but it's the writer and director that bring the drama to…
I don't sweat the small stuff on which exact award it is. You understood what I meant in terms of benchmarking, but then if we have to be PC about it, then great acting amd a great drama would result in being recognised and awarded that coveted Daesang or Baeksang Award.
I felt for him and his life was ruined. I hope part 2 it ends well.
Can't wait for it.
