I don’t understand the last scene of Zhou Xiao Yu and Shen Shi Yan. I’m gonna talk about my questions bellow, under the spoiler alert.

Is the romance in this good? Is it the main focus of the dorama, or is it just a small part of the story?

Happy ending?

Are the bullying scenes too heavy?

I just hope she doesn’t die in the end. I’ll wait for it to end before watching it, so I can be sure I won’t be crushed.

Happy ending?

I have never watched a c-drama while it’s broadcasting. These is my first time.
Does it always takes these long to sub on viki? What about on wetv and iqiyi?

Does this drama ends today?
I really want to finish watching it, but on Brazil, viki only has up to episode 23, while it’s supposed to be on ep 34.
Is there anyone from the USA that can tell me if the american viki has the episodes up to date with English subs?
I might buy a VPN to watch it if I can find other countries with English sub.

Why is there so many good dramas released in October? I can’t keep up. Is it vacation time in China, so they save the best for when people have more free time to watch it. Sometimes 2 or 3 months go by without one good new drama that picks my attention. But since the end of September there are 6 new dramas.
Not complaining, though. 😂 can’t wait to put this one on my long list.

Is the drama over yet? On my country, on viki it is still at episode 16.
Is it a happy or sad ending?

So, was it a happy ending for everybody?

I get it. But we also don’t know how long was the time lapse of the story. Maybe from the time she was exposed to the time she died a year could have passed. But the mayor dying in a minuto was really weird. But I don’t usually take this plots too serious. Most of the things they can pull of in this action/suspense/investigation type of dramas would never fly in real life. I just take it with a grain of salt. Have never seen a badass caracter with realistic accomplishments.
I just finished watching taxi driver and the things the rainbow group could do were awesome, but very farfetched. Most Asian dramas are unrealistic, but I guess that’s what is so good about them.

That’s true. They never explained what the hospital was doing with the cancer patients and the prisoners. Were they doing experiments on them, or were they just trying to cover up the diseases? At first I thought they were trying to find a cure for the old mans disease, and were using people as guinea pigs. 😂

But if there are large concentration of radiation in the water it can happen. An incident in Brazil where some people touched parts of a X-ray machine disposed in a junkyard, these people had contact only once and most of them died. To these day there are people fighting against cancer, and they just had contact with the people that died from the close contact. You can google it. It’s the 137 cesio disaster from 1987. Of the contents of one X-ray machine can cause that, imagine what was in that water.

Something that really made me mad was Gu Jia Xin’s mother. She was so adamant about her son working at the company because it was her dead husbands dream, and her dream, and that he should inherit it to fulfill this dream. But she never stoped to think about her sons dream. Why was everybody’s dream more important than his own dream. I was ready to hit someone when he had to take over the company. For a moment I though the scrip would really sacrifice his dream over his loyalty to his parents. But thankfully she saw her mistake on time.

But something I loved in this story is that they didn’t forgive song xue or gave her a second chance, even though she had some sob story to justify her actions (sick kid and bankrupt husband). Usually on cdramas the main leads are saints that forgive the villain, like dumbasses. That always made me mad, that even after suffering soo much because of them, they have to show how nice and great they are by forgiving them. Thankfully this didn’t happen here, and she got what she deserved.

You are my glory is also my favorite Chinese drama. Have you ever found other similar c-dramas that comes at least close to YAMG perfection?
