Currently watching the last episodes and ngl, the whole miho has late stage leukemia from being exposed to dangerous…
But if there are large concentration of radiation in the water it can happen. An incident in Brazil where some people touched parts of a X-ray machine disposed in a junkyard, these people had contact only once and most of them died. To these day there are people fighting against cancer, and they just had contact with the people that died from the close contact. You can google it. It’s the 137 cesio disaster from 1987. Of the contents of one X-ray machine can cause that, imagine what was in that water.
Something that really made me mad was Gu Jia Xin’s mother. She was so adamant about her son working at the company because it was her dead husbands dream, and her dream, and that he should inherit it to fulfill this dream. But she never stoped to think about her sons dream. Why was everybody’s dream more important than his own dream. I was ready to hit someone when he had to take over the company. For a moment I though the scrip would really sacrifice his dream over his loyalty to his parents. But thankfully she saw her mistake on time.
But something I loved in this story is that they didn’t forgive song xue or gave her a second chance, even though she had some sob story to justify her actions (sick kid and bankrupt husband). Usually on cdramas the main leads are saints that forgive the villain, like dumbasses. That always made me mad, that even after suffering soo much because of them, they have to show how nice and great they are by forgiving them. Thankfully this didn’t happen here, and she got what she deserved.
It was the guy who had a crush on the bride and confessed to her and got rejected.
Who was the bride? I can’t remember? Do you mean Jin Lai lai? Was it that guy that worked in that smal office outside of the company, where the FL worked for a while? He only appeared in the first half of the drama. Why would he be there in the end, after disappearing for so long? That’s weird. I wonder if maybe he filmed more scenes, but got cut out during edition.
Who was the guy that caught the flower bouquet on the last episode? Was that Mi Lu’s driver?
Also, was I the only one expecting mr. Lin to be revealed as the big true villain of the story, behind all the wrong doings? I was sure of it. When the end came, and it didn’t happened, it was very unticlimactic. Shao moli kept saying he didn’t trust his intentions, but he wasn’t even bad.
And I don’t understand why jang hao ran was fired. I hated him in the beginning, and thought he were a villain too, but I ended up liking him, even if he was a bit of an asshole. But since he wasn’t a villain, his character was kind of useless. I wish he had had more purpose in the plot.
And I haven’t decided yet if the An yu is a saint, or just plain dumb. She forgave everyone in the end. In a few years when they get out of jail, will they be a big happy family together? I could never forgive the ex for causing my dads death, and mu li for almost killing the person I love.
How far along were the filming of this drama? I wonder if they can replace the actor, or if the hole drama will be cancelled. There are already so few Korean bls available. When there is finally a good story, they chose the wrong person to act in it.
And it is so upsetting that the court gave him a light sentence because, according to them, it was an “accident”. How can someone accidentally break into a house, threaten someone with a knife, and choke them? The only thing I hope is that after this, his carrear as an idol and actor is over. At least this punishment he will get.
I liked the romance in this drama, but the bromances going on were a thousand times better.
The bromance /friendship between iy chuan and wang boyu were great, but the bromance/friendship between yi chuan and chu tian were the best in the drama. Their development from enemies to friends were great. The way chu tian looked up to iy tian were really touching. And I loved that chu tian always seemed proud that iy tian were on the path to surpassing even him as the best player and commander of the group.
Does these drama have any sad parts? I want to start watching historical C-dramas, but only the ones that aren’t too heavy, and with a happy ending. It’s ok if there are some sad parts, as long as it’s not too much, and too tragic.
I would also love some recommendations on others historical dramas like that. Thank you.

I don’t wanna watch if it makes me cry too much.

There is a “slight romance” tag, but the sinopse make it sound like the romance is a big part of the story.

Poor buy. He deserves better.
I think I saw Time flirt with some other guy right in front of tay when they were at the bar partying with the whole troupe. Thanks
