It's going waaaay too fast and she is accepting everything too easily... but still I like it so far
I am with you Wendox. It's really going fast. Hopefully it won't slow down in the later Episodes, because that seems to happen quite often in these historical KDramas. Or maybe it's just me that feels that way.
I never thought that Lee Joon Gi was extremly good-looking or hot, but damn i really love him in this Drama. The character he plays is really intriguing and i love his hairstyle :D
But still i have the feeling that this Drama is kind of lacking. I dunno why i feel this way. The comedy is pretty funny but there is still something missing, tho i can't put my Thumb on it.
Btw the fake laughing really gets onto my nerves, some of the acting really needs improvement. The sets and some of the costumes on the other hand are really cool! Also the fighting was pretty good. Liked that :)
So, i have to ask a very dumb question. Is this Drama like "Palace: The Lock Heart Jade"? Well like…
Ah, so basically all of these versions (Scarlet Heart, Palace and Ryeo) are just different versions based on the novel. While Scarlet Heart is more serious, Palace is more of a funny adaptation and Ryeo is just simply the korean version. Okey, now i got it. Thank you for your patience in answering my questions :D I appreciate it! :)
So, i have to ask a very dumb question. Is this Drama like "Palace: The Lock Heart Jade"? Well like…
Isn't it more of a remake? I mean Scarlet Heart already has a drama, no? Sorry english isn't my native language that's why i am confused of what the difference between a adaptation and a remake is. I mean if a book gets a movie adaption it's clear, but i just don't know what an adaption in this context means^^
So, i have to ask a very dumb question. Is this Drama like "Palace: The Lock Heart Jade"? Well like…
So basically Palace = Scarlet Heart which means that Ryeo is the korean remake? So all three of them share the same story? That's good to hear. I really liked Palace: The Lock Heart Jade, so i will put this remake AND Scarlet Heart onto my PTW-list aswell. Thanks for answering my question :)
So, i have to ask a very dumb question. Is this Drama like "Palace: The Lock Heart Jade"? Well like the korean version of it? It's tagged as a Spinoff of Scarlet Heart but i read somewhere that Scarlet Heart and Palace share a very similiar storyline? I am just wondering how they all are connected, maybe someone can help me :)
The feels, man! The feels! Why is this so good? I need a second season now, because i just can't part with these adorable girls :( The ending nearly screems for a second season.
They way they showed some rather heavy themes without being extremly dark or depressing, was really impressive. Hopefully there will me more Dramas of this kind :)
Really, the amount of romance, comedy and drama was soooo well balanced. Wow. Just wow. Big recommendation to all the Slice of Life Lovers!
Can we please take Ji Woon and shove him somewhere else? Far far away to be never seen again. Ah and he can take…
Hey Kkraz99.
Ahh okey, If Jung Il Woo would be my bias i would also wish for him to end up with the girl :D Oh you don't like his relationship with her? Why ist that exactly? Not that i ship them, just curious :)
Oh so it's basically like me just the other way around. I am not impressed by Jung ll Woo's acting xD The actor of Hyun Min also played the main role in Blood. That's were i saw him the first time and he really improved in his acting tho i must admit it already liked his acting in Blood. But he plays a diffrent character there. Are there some really good dramas with Jun il woo as the Lead? Because i would like to see if i generally don't like his acting or if it's just of his specific role here :) So if you have a recommendation, i would very much like to hear it *_*
Yeah you are probably right but i just adore them. Really. Even tho they won't sail i just can't give up on those two. It will hurt at the end, but damn.
Ohhh! Even if it is a spoiler i would like to hear! :)
Now to the second answer you written: Yes! They are clearly all lacking. I am totally on your side with that!
Yes Ha Won kinda, well, i dunno..she was soo good in the first 4 episodes and now in the 5th one (haven't watched the 6th one yet), she becomes this person she actually never wanted to be. I mean she criticised every boy so far, but she also does the same mistakes. It's frustrating.
Also, like you, i can't understand Ha Won's feelings towards Ji Won. It just seems too rushed without any reason or explaining. :/
For me it's like the other way around. I read to much books where the jerk with a shitty past or bad childhood pushes the girl away, only to later fall in love with her. And of course the girl likes the guy back. It's like one of those typically Teenage Book Characters, you know what i mean? Ji Woon can become interesting, but only if the story allows it. And i really hope they get him and hyun min out of this cliche-thing. Or some nice backstory for the 3rd and 4th knight ;) Cause both of them are much less overused :D
But i do understand your points @Kkrazy99! They are valid reasons. Thanks for sharing your opinion :)
Oh and I just want to say again I'm loving this so much! Especially the OSTs - it's so refreshing and gives me…
That's really cool. I think i will start with that aswell :D
I kinda envy you for having a brother that at least gives it a try^^ It's kind of cute that he watched it because you like it so much. You two seem to have a really good relationship :) Ah you mean the serious ones, that touch rather dark themes? For me i like both. The positive ones and the dark ones, but i have to be in the mood for it. Tho the serious ones have to be very good written (like Game of Thones) otherwhise i get bored easily.
I think it's a rellay good point that you try his recommendations. There are way to many people who judge before they even saw some dramas. Or who don't even give something a try.
Totally! I really liked both episodes! Thanks again for recommending it, i am totally hooked! *_* So many good-looking actors and so many funny jokes/situations. Love it. Yes, W-Two Worlds is a really good written Drama. Tho sometimes i can't feel with the Leads. I wonder why :(
Oh and I just want to say again I'm loving this so much! Especially the OSTs - it's so refreshing and gives me…
Yes, the commenting on this drama is strong! :D
Ah thanks for explaining! You don't have to be sorry. If i don't know something i just ask. Probably most asian drama fans know that word, so it's only natural that you use it :)
Ah that's to bad. But i can understand that. I also watch less and less. But asian dramas are a good substitute, so it's good, right? :D
But well alt least he even tried or did watch some dramas. My brother is like totally against everything i recommend him. Be it anime, american drama or asian drama .__.
Mr. Robot sounds familiar. I think i have that on some PTW List somewhere. It's with this well liked actor called Rami Malek or something like that, right?
Oh btw i just started watching "Love in the Moonlight". I am halfway through the first episode and i am loving it! I hope it will keep this humour and won't drift into too much cliche with overly done drama, if you know what i mean :3
Oh and I just want to say again I'm loving this so much! Especially the OSTs - it's so refreshing and gives me…
Btw i am sorry for asking a very dumb question but what does this "chingu" mean? :)
Yeah, it's probably because my way into the Drama world started with mostly movies. The runtime of some korean dramas put me off at first. Also i was quite the movie freak a year or so ago :D
You too? Oh wow! Hello fellow anime fan! :D Hana Kimi ist sooo friggin good! Oh my gosg srsly! I love the drama of hana kimi. It even made me read the Manga (tho i never finished it). Your younger brother also likes dramas? That's sooo nice! In my family no one watches dramas .__. Well at least my mum gets hooked on some good american dramas :D That's at least something, This way i can borrow some of her DVDs.
Oh and I just want to say again I'm loving this so much! Especially the OSTs - it's so refreshing and gives me…
Well i am pumped to find that out! :D
I think it was in January 2015. Or at least around that time. Like you, i mostly watched american and englisch Dramas. So i guess i am still considered quite a newbie with only over a year of asian drama experience :D
Ahh the good old classics. Whatever you are a fan off, if you don't understand the references to some classics you feel like a newbie again. It's the same for me with books or animes i suppos. But well, the way you recommend shows that you aren't a newbie even if you haven't watched all classics :D
It has action? Count me in! Your profile picture? Wait a sec and let me check it out...it looks pretty nice! Godamit Bongsookie! You can't do that to me! Recommending this many good dramas and getting me into a real dramafever. xD The Story how you got here really is interesting. I like this fangirling part :D
Oh and I just want to say again I'm loving this so much! Especially the OSTs - it's so refreshing and gives me…
Naturally progressing romances? That. Sounds. Amazing! A really good story, too? Okey okey okey. You definitely convinced me to watch IRY as soon as possible :D
3 years. That's so nice. What you still feel like a newbie? How come? :D
If i am not mistaken Queen In-Hyun's Man is already on my list. I like this time travelling theme :D So, Healer, hm? Will put it on my list aswell :)
Can we please take Ji Woon and shove him somewhere else? Far far away to be never seen again. Ah and he can take…
I still think he is one of those whiny guys. Just the overall feelings he gives off. I understand why him and Hyun Min are on this bad terms. I am absolutly not a fan of Hyun Min' actions towards him if that's what you are thinking! His behaviour towards Ji Woon is absolutly bullshit.
But i think he is mean towards his grandfather and Yoon Sun, which also could be understandable but he also needs to see the side of his grandfather. If he wants to or not, he is part of the family and if i remember corecctly he came freely there, because he wanted to know something about his dad. The grandfather forced him to stay, yes, but he also tried to protect him from false friends who only want his money. There are always two sides and i have the feeling Ji Woon is way to focosed on himself, which if i remember correctly also Ha Won pointed out.
His misunderstanding about Ha Won gave him no right to behave this towards her! He didn't know her! He was in no position to judge her, even if he hates Hyun Min. That's my thoughts about that. Also he just comes off as a whiny teenager who is in his rebellious phase. Like opposing anything, being a jerk to everyone and ofc playing with Ha Won's feelings just to please Hye Ji. He has some good points (for example where he watched out for Ha Won that she didn't get hurt), but for me that doesn't make me like him or even want to make me like him. I am not really good at explaining my thoughts, because english isn't my native language which makes it hard for me to describe my feelings. I hope i still could make you understand, with simple words, what i didn't like about him. I accept that you see him differently, but for me he is just some character that wants a lot of pity from the viewers and i just simply don't like that :3
Oh and I just want to say again I'm loving this so much! Especially the OSTs - it's so refreshing and gives me…
Yes, i am very ashamed of that :x
I Remember You? Okey, I'll put it at the head of my Plan to watch-List. It's a very awesome Drama, right? I only heard good things about it. Is there some Romance in it aswell? Are there some cool bad guys? :D
Aw really? Maan, if he is such a cute and kind man, i have to watch some of his Dramas. I really wish i had more time to watch! :/
Me, too! Coin Locker Girl really was some very dramatic movie.
I can relate to that. Wow over 100 watched Dramas? Respect! Then you are something like an old rabbit in this whole Drama-Scene? How many years ago did you start watching?
Yeah Hana Yori Dango really is a good example how cliché looks like :D There are also some other versions of hana yori dango? Did you watch them, too? How did you like them?
Age of Youth is fantastic! If you are looking for realistic characters which you will love, then it's the right Drama to watch. Really. I never saw so many Lead actors! There chemistry (on friendship basis) is so great and there are so many life lesseons in it. I swear after watching the last episode i will cry a river, because i will miss them so much! It's like the audience is part of that group. So much feels! It's an absolutly must watch if you like Slice of Life.
Oh and I just want to say again I'm loving this so much! Especially the OSTs - it's so refreshing and gives me…
Thank you very much for answering my questions and the recommendations! :)
Okey, luckily Age of Youth just ended, so i can start with Moonlight tomorrow *_* Funny and cute just sounds exactly what i am looking for. Park Bo Gum really looks good. Why haven't i seen a single Drama of him yet? Oh wait he played a role in Coin Locker Girl. I bet he was that one guy i had a crush on :D
No second Lead Sydrom? Oh..my..god! Sounds perfect. I put it on my List. Maybe i find the time to also start it. Thanks again for helping me :)
Hana Yori Dango..i must admit i didn't like it pretty much. But i don't remember why. But i think i liked the first lead, he was quite handsome and funny :D
The Masters Sun and Beautiful Gongshim will be put onto my "Plan to watch"-List.
So is secretary the grandpa's son now? I mean they gave a pretty big hint that he might be the son of the grandpa's…
You mean about the secretary being the stepson? The way the secretary and the new wife acted around each other could mean that they know each other or are even related to each other. Also she asking something about if the chairman needs a son and him saying yes (her face after that was really suspicious). It's in the 5th Episode and could hint to the secretary being the son of the new wife :)
Oh and I just want to say again I'm loving this so much! Especially the OSTs - it's so refreshing and gives me…
W-Two Worlds is really good! Though it requires a lot of brain power, but then there are Dramas like Cinderella where we can just watch and enjoy. So nice :)
So does Moonlight and Bring it On Ghost have some good Romance? Is there a second Lead Syndrom in those possible? I really would like some Drama where i don't get a strong second Lead syndrom going :D Maybe you have some recommendations? :)
Oh and are there some good chaebol Drama you can recommend? :3
But still i have the feeling that this Drama is kind of lacking. I dunno why i feel this way. The comedy is pretty funny but there is still something missing, tho i can't put my Thumb on it.
