I really couldn't see the hints of romance between the 2?? It looks like how friends would normally act. Though…
I didn't see any of that either. I just finished binge-watching all 9 episodes, and analyzing their behavior throughout the drama, I didn't see any romantic feelings in it.

To me, they're just partners.

A light mystery drama, mostly focusing on the relationship between the four people who used to be friends. I didn't…
I binge-watched this drama recently and I'm still really confused about the BL aspect. I haven't seen that anywhere.

A common phenomenon—once the couple gets together, the show starts focusing on boring side stories.
You're right about that. I thought that after being together, the two of them would be able to find a balance, with her learning to trust and letting her emotions flow a little more and him maturing and stopping being so obsessed with her.

But they got together and it still seems like they're not. He's always afraid of losing her and she's afraid of leaving her position of authority.

Then, to complete the episode, there are several dilemmas between the friends, heavy dramas and now another unpleasant person arriving to break the light dynamics of the drama.

Personally, I didn't like the direction of episode eight.

On The Art of Negotiation Mar 10, 2025
Title The Art of Negotiation Spoiler
I really like the actor who plays the main character and the style of the drama, but I think some things left something to be desired.

The background music: As some have already mentioned, it was incredibly amateurish. Too loud and completely disconnected from the scene, it didn't make any sense to choose this type of sound.

Protagonist's sales image x On-screen performance: When I saw the synopsis and the beginning of the drama, I believed that we would be about to meet a "negotiating ace", super strategic and sharp. However, most of the time he seemed insecure (at least in his expressions), fearful and at the end he even confirmed it by saying that "it was luck" (well, I believe it really was, considering his poor performance as a negotiator of this acquisition). When the president arrived and told him the amount he expected to receive for the sale of the company he loved so much, the protagonist almost cried and said "for the love of God, sell it for the price I'm telling you, please!", when he realized that the expected value was much higher than possible.

Random scene 1: An extremely unpleasant scene was when the president's friend was trying to buy an item at the "flea market" and the president showed up, forbade his friend from buying it and even humiliated the old man who was selling it. Why? Was it so that we would realize that the president is an idiot?

Random scene 2: The doctor and his daughter, who is also a doctor (but doesn't seem like it, since she passes through the security of a door during the entire consultation) at the president's house. I don't know if the president took the girl's details to talk to a psychic and check if she might be someone's fiancée, but the way he looked at her and kept complimenting her - clearly making her feel embarrassed - was very strange.

I can say that we've had two episodes and nothing very significant has happened. So far it seems like a drama that created an "intriguing", "intelligent" and "mature" atmosphere, but in reality it's nothing like that. I still don't know what will come next, but I hope it gets better. For now I just think it's a great wasted opportunity.

Oh, and for those who talk about hair: mine started going gray when I was 24 and I've kept my hair dyed ever since. However, I think the idea of the protagonist's gray hair is just another artifice of the "intriguing image" that the drama wants to convey.

Title My Precious
oh so we're just gonna ignore what he did to her first. she wouldn't have done it if he was such a good husband…
I understand. So in your opinion, it is completely justifiable for someone to be robbed, not complain, not take action, but one fine day kill the robber.

We always need to understand some things about the terrible actions that someone commits against another person: how brutal is it? Are you able to defend yourself? What will be your loss?

So, the situation is a husband who treated his wife like trash and her attitude was to seek affection outside the home. She could have gotten a divorce, but no, the betrayal seemed more interesting because something her husband provided that she did not want to lose. Not satisfied with the betrayal, she gets pregnant. And the best solution is to lie to her husband about the child and continue her life the way she is. After all, if before she was not willing to put aside what her husband gave her, now with a child she will not be.

Dude, the guy is complete trash, but if you stay with him and start doing one wrong thing after another, there's no way to defend him and even "analyzing both sides", he's still very wrong in the story.

This is a very good drama ^^ But why did my favorite Niwano end up all alone???
Because generally, screenwriters only care about the development of the main couple and only think about the others if they have time for it.

We're only five episodes in, yet the husband's true colors have already been revealed. Also, the actress playing…
The actress who plays Rina is simply perfect. The expressions of embarrassment, false joy, and need for acceptance are there whenever the context calls for it.

I feel bad and very uncomfortable for her, and to stir these emotions in me, it is because she is very competent in her work, quite different from the main actress who needs to mature a lot as an actress.

After having watched ep4, I'm dropping this. Delulu Midori is annoying but now I can't stand Mei, I need a more…
The lead actress has terrible acting skills. I recently saw a romantic comedy with her and it only worked because the story was light and didn't require much effort, but in this drama, where each character carries a very strong emotional burden, she can't handle the responsibility.

They should have chosen another actress for this role.

On Host Sozoku Shichaimashita Mar 5, 2025
I tried to watch this show three times and with great effort I managed to finish episode 2.
ML is so unpleasant, so disrespectful towards the decision of the former owner of the Club that it is practically impossible to continue.

It is okay for him to be resistant to the new owner, because he thinks he has the right to take over something that was never his, but his threatening and intimidating tone goes too far.
I believe the idea is for this "hate" to turn into "love", but I couldn't even stand to see the guy on screen, so I decided to give up now.

It seems like the story had potential, there is a lot to be explored, but if ML had been a supporting host it might have been bearable for me, but unfortunately it didn't work out.

It reminds me of What's Wrong with Secretary Kim and King The Land. Some scenes are really similar.
What's Wrong with Secretary Kim is simply perfect. In fact, I think the protagonist of My Dearest Nemesis makes some gestures that remind me of ML from What's Wrong with Secretary Kim.

I couldn't finish King The Land. The FL's acting is really bad and after 3 episodes I couldn't stand it anymore.

It will go for the same cliche happy ending, where years of trauma and pain caused by grandma will be forgiven…
Yes. Nothing happens to the abusers and the victims can't even talk about their feelings.

It's as if just because they are "parents" or "grandparents" they already have the right to treat you like "trash". This really irritates me.

At this point, the dramas fail considerably, because there is no redemption and it is impossible for someone to heal years of suffering and psychological abuse with a "plate of food" and a "smile".

The dramas are sending a very wrong message with this type of approach.

Acho uma pena que essa atriz não se desafie em papéis diferentes.
One of the hardest things these days is working in a field you like and not being pressured to be constantly "promoted."

A lot of times, people start working and don't even want to be leaders, but if they spend 5 years working quietly in operations, people start looking at you like you're a failure and you feel practically "obliged" to move on.

So if she feels good doing only rom-coms, even if that makes her a character of only one genre. If she's having fun and still getting paid for it, then let her keep it up. I like her in those roles, so I really don't mind. She's not bad at acting and usually the dramas she does are easy to watch. So that's okay with me.

So many upcoming jdramas, since i'm interested in jdramas lately i will add this to my wl.
I'm completely hooked on J-dramas. It's so strong that when I start a K-drama I get bored.

I was shocked to see this actress again, because I'm watching another romance drama with her, and her acting isn't the best, but the story is fun, so I keep watching.

Here in Brazil, they only released the first episode. Now we have to wait for a new one every week.
