Not as strong as the first season
Intense games are enjoyable to watch, deadly ever more, but something felt hollow in this season. And many times each episode it feels unrealistic. The villains kept missing on purpose so that the main cast can live but when there's a random person that comes up they die immediately. By halfway, the show started to become predictable that no matter what, the games can be won.
The ending was not satisfying for me. They kept swapping between alternate worlds. And it felt like it was all just for nothing. But I really liked the new psychological games in this second season. And the bonds between characters was nice to see actual development as opposed to the first season.
