Heartwarming love story
Each episode is only 30-40 minutes which is not much compared to most dramas. This show is very wholesome and cutesy. Main best thing is the cast group of 5 friends, the side characters did really well in making the drama lively. It's easy to follow not much stressing on complex stories and characters. Music is good I keep remembering blue by yung kai everytime that part comes up, I always know things are about to go down. Perfect depiction of love at first sight. Su Zai Zai kept sticking with Zhang Lurang, never giving up her crush any time. It's satisfying to see two opposites cold and warm boy and girl becoming attracted. The other couple in the friend group Jiang ja and gu ran was what kept the show amazing too. Without them it felt kind of empty.Was this review helpful to you?
Punch punch
Tough fighting scenes greatly portrayed by everyone. It felt exhilarating when fights were about to go down during car chases. The pacing is decent with 8 episodes, making it an easy watch. Kdrama turned out to be more like crime kind of like Vincenzo where a lot of money is on the line and an evil corporation is meant to be taken down.The two main buddies go well together their chemistry is good and it's funny how most scenes they were just eating together. Pretty decent show not bad. It may not be for everyone if you're not into heavy graphic stuff.

Had big potential
The concept merging AI with reaching out to loved ones is very realistic in the present world. Many people are lonely and wish to seek out to someone like AI friend chats. This show had good set of cast like Gong Yoo and Park Bo Gum but this show shouldn't have merged two stories together. Since it's a movie, they should've focused more on the story of the pilot and her boyfriend.The 2 characters that were in charge of the AI revival system didn't look that empathetic for the ones mourning. But the CGI looked realistic for the most part. The stories were pretty emotional. I recommend if you're into futuristic cyber shows.

Not as strong as the first season
Intense games are enjoyable to watch, deadly ever more, but something felt hollow in this season. And many times each episode it feels unrealistic. The villains kept missing on purpose so that the main cast can live but when there's a random person that comes up they die immediately. By halfway, the show started to become predictable that no matter what, the games can be won.The ending was not satisfying for me. They kept swapping between alternate worlds. And it felt like it was all just for nothing. But I really liked the new psychological games in this second season. And the bonds between characters was nice to see actual development as opposed to the first season.

Watch if you like Squid game
This show did amazing in portraying the deadly games, one thing I really liked about Alice in borderland first season is the pace. Usually there is filler, minutes of talking, but this show episode after episode kept upping the stakes and became more suspenseful. The horror is realistic I can feel the fear and agony in the characters even the side ones.One thing that wasn't the best not a 10/10 is how the main character suddenly came up with a solution last minute. If this was a real life situation, I don't think it would be rational thinking at all. Everyone doesn't know and is confused throughout the games, but Arisu knows what to do.
But overall, this show was very good suspense thriller. Highly recommend if you're into Squid game, they're both famous dramas that deal with psychology and betrayal. Only difference is that there's no money involved in Alice in borderland.
