I think they need to be together, like touching no? every time the barrier appeared they vere touching or very close, otherwise her grandma touched her few times as well and nothing happened after the first time when he jumped between them. I think it is exactly like Master's sun, and they work in a tandem somehow ... if it weren't k-drama and she wasn't supposed to be clearly his love interest ,my first logical though wpuld be that somewheres in those 100years some guy of the seo family slipped and made an illegate branch having also weird power thus she was a relation. Since it is a k-drama and they will probably end up together my next thinking is that it is part of the curse somehow, the curse making sure he..ehm...procreates to hand over his duties and thusly a girl who he needs to be physically close to magically appears😁 hence why it works as a pair 🤷😁 well thos are just first two that came to mind when she did the barrier

I don't know, I seem to be the only one nor feeling emotional about this so far, yeah like poor ML , it gives major Master's sun vibes the first episode. I am wondering why am I the only one who seems to find the FL character so irritating in the fisrt two episodes at the very least ... I don't know, that is exactly the person I would rather evade as much as possible irl😁 I mean I honestly thought to myself " poor ML, such an unfortunate life and THIS is his FL... he's suffered enough no?"

I don't know ,she was pretty self-assured inthe beginning in general "don't touch me or I'll report you" while nonchalantly trespassing on purpose - for all she knew there was a normal neighbor moving in , she just went ahead and snooped while being an attorney huh...also I know the woman was innocent, but I am pretty sure you need to agree to having an attorney ,it is "you have a right to have an attorney" not "you have to have an self imposed attorney " ...the way she just refused to leave when her "client" told her she doesn't want her services and kind ablaming her for her choice to miss an interview... I duno she did seem like the type to first form an opinion of her own and ask questions later . So it is a bit consistent with the character this time 😁😁😁
anyways I also find amazing when there is a drama where the characters actually communicate normally, there are some 😊 but then again lack of open communication and frequent stumbles are pretty much trademarks to kdramas 😁 I am certainly clumsy myself, always dropping and knocking over stuff etc...my friends joke about me being a clutz all the time... but never did I stumble over nothing three times in a week 😁😁😁😁

the initial setup is seriously sad ,the poor guy suffers so much . Now if all his family was living like this I am always absolutely bewildered that they continue to have childern :O surprised the cursed bloodline didn't end after two generations or something like that....I could never

I can't seem to het invested at all, I don't think it's necessarily the actors' performance. Feels more like the problem is with the overall production,maybe even the script. Pity, the body swap idea is a fun one , but if the rest of it is boring ... anyways maybe it get better ,I've dropped it fairly early considering it is a longer one. so I won't leave a rating since I didn't see most of it. If I ever make myself get back to it I'll rate.

I feel like both of those are somehow getting some genuity of relationships (doesn't matter how ridiculous or toxic at times, but it feels real somehow) through the screen. Also both are very well casted. Production is also good ... no wonder if they achieve similar results 😁

to be realistic, it feels like the dramas lately are bit more toxic again. I don't really know why. It was much better for few years . It's like they're reversing to the nostalgic 2010-ish 😅 absolutely fucked up main couples and unnaturally stiff skinships and crazy murderous families are experiencing comeback in some ways lately😁😁 I noticed during last year and 2024 isn't much better so far... anyways I agree that yelling about it senselessly is pretty absurd.

there's lot of additional plot added to the drama ,characters as well and the original characters are also somewhat changed . It is a loose adaptation to be honest, so I have utterly no idea how will they proceed considering they added lots of complications to the relationship. There was no 2nd FL , not public pressure no evil family, no reporter drama etc...in the webtoon. They literally just switched the groom at the wedding sneakily because Ji Han kind of blackmailed and persuaded his brother and grandma 😁😅😅😅 I doubt they can do that here due to above mentioned changes 🤷
also in the webtoon she wasn't that great of a friend with Do Han (they didn't see each other for few years at all, and she found out he was gay by accident, not because he trusted her and told her) also he was away for few months before the wedding, honestly it feels more bitchy to fall dor his brother in the drama than in the webtoon for various reasons.

I don't know, I write lots of not-so-positive comments , not hateful ones, but often with some critique included . So far nobody was really malicious in their reply, some disagreed of course, but nothing out of the realm of civil discussion. I think you were either unlucky, or steered from politeness first if you have another experience. Anyways I believe whole community isn't at fault even if there are some mean trolls here and there, it is not so bad yet 😁 Lets all rather concentrate on the dramas and movies ;)

I am in the second half currently, and Orchid character started to get on my nerves a lot, she was naive and clueless amd cheesy the first half , but she seemed to have some spine and was ok, but now? she seems to have lost the spine , she is like a broken record repeating same three things over and over last few episodes, and she became not clueless, but stupid and irrational. please tell me it's gonna get better? I like the acting, and enjoy the bit over the top visuals , but geez the FL character and honestly the merchant friend as well are just making me want to drop it. also I can't root for her as the MLs love interest, she has absolutely zero trust and treats him quite like a second thought. which ahe has a right to of course, feelings can't be forced, however if she treats him like she truly doesn't love him than the supposed romance doesn't feel genuine at all, no matter what chemistry the actors produce. Will it get any better ?

did you see the legit panic attack and all rhose flashbacks hyun woo experienced after finding out she might live 😅 sorry if my good friend was in such a toxic relationship I would wholeheartedly try to encourage them to get out, yeah those means are over the top, but the stupid family is as well, with their taste for revenge and no sense of conscience ...anyways, yeah their love story is turning kinda sad, but but her being sick doesn't erase her being complete psycho nor their toxic relationship, yeah he also gave up, so he has some blame as well for their shitty marriage, but je is the only one facing the consequences and it is absolutely unfair. Im case he divorces her, his in-laws will ruin his life, if he runs away to hide, his life ruined as well practically, if she dies I seriously doubt they won't at least ruin jis career....well I wpuld be mightily pissed for my friend. I think it was idiotic advice to have him try to woo her in order to revwritw the will. As unfair as it is, still it's her money and it's kinda disgusting thing to do. But saying he should let her have another romance to leave him ? what's wrong about that ?🤷😅 Marry my husband plot got away with it > let the shitty people run off and destroy wach other happily, I am all for that😁 not like that will happen here tho, this is the lind of script where her bullying and mean treatment of him will turn endearing or something 🤷

i like the aestetic and the acting, but the script wrap-up felt a bit forced

well Goblin wouldn't be so bad ending , but they just had to add the 4-lifespans on Earth only rule. Meaning she gets to live only three more (let's be optimistic now and assume she only died at 29 the first one and lived till 80-100ish the three next ones ) so now he was 900+years old already, got 29years but actually like 2years max. with her, waited another 60yrs till she found him again for lets optimistically say 70more years together(sh ecane as a highschooler again) ...and now repeat...so some 300years later they're on their last cycle and then what? he has no longer the sword , is she even legit bride? she leves to never to return and he gets to be stuck forever ... now even if they didn't mind him being her "father,then hisband, then brother, then son" situation , and they managed to find a way for him to die with her in the end, he seems to go somewhere else as a supernatural being , sooo they're still apart....Jence I don't understand why no one ever tries to make the human one immortal instead. so they can really share the fate etc ... like of they made her for example Reaper or in her case angel perhaps? yeah she woul be wiped possibly, but the reaper managed to get his partner even so, so.....
anyways there was a a book where the ML was eh death basically, and he was understandably pretty much a loner, but by the end of the series the FL was granted permission by the deity to be basically same species , yeah she struggled a bit being death and all, not thw easiest job I guess, but at least it made some sort of sense to me 🤷

I think they went a bit too far with all of the additional plot and new characters, I think the webtoon setup was fun and simple. There was only that angry ex-bf hiccup, sinc its a k-drama , they could've pursue crazy sh*t with that and didn't have to fabricate gazillion other drama twists -like crazy possesive 2nd FL , archetypical evil chaebol family, some past trauma accident , reporter , being illegitimate childern, evil actress nemesis.... it's kind of too much. Also I am not exactly loving how much they changed the FLs character, sure her original was too timid, lacked self-esteem outside of theatre and overall child-like lost person, but that's what the ML did actually for her , he helped her find herself at least a bit, otherwise who would fall for such a jerk?
the last episode seemd less entertaining and fun that the previous ones , hope it's not to become a trend for this drama sic ethe characters are all very annoying on their own and the comedy element couters it well.

I re-watched it cause I felt like looking at younger Huyn Bin .I first criedout of laughter because of the haircuts ...and the overall ,90's music video clip vibes , then I cried for real 'cause it's basically A walk to remember korean chaebol version, and that one always makes me cry by the end. Well I am an easy prey to the cheesiness 😁
