if there was to be a regant for the cp, I think king's father-in-law (now adoptive grandfather of the cp) would be a possibility. He is a bit clueless, but at least seems to be kind hearted and genuinely care for the prince , and technically he is now his relation 🤷 other adepts based on relation would be the sixth secretary and technically the old hag of a queen 😁 but I kind of hope neither will make it through, at least not with their court positions kept 🤞well ...we'll see. So far I am rating this drama overall good, since it kept me curious so far even though most of it's characters I sincerely hope will be either dead or imprisoned by the end of it, so technically job well done 😁

She also dressed like the "Bakduk gambler" most times she went out back before , so most people knew her as man rather than lady. the one fhat knew her mostly in her lady form, the sleazy fiance wannabe, recognized her right away

to be honest I think there is higher probability that the King will die in the end rather than MongWoo , unfortunately. I think from screenwriting perspective makes much more sense if the King dies and hands over the throne to the prince as he wished, and MongWoo gets her father back , the queen will probably "be punished" by her son dying since she put all her effort and ambition into him, and the evil uncle will be executed 🤷
but I'd rather my version 😁

she's 19 from the beginning of the series (literally blew the candles when they met), in most countries that is even legal marriage age you know ... In my region you are by all standards an adult responsible for themselves at the age of 18 , you can drink, drive, vote, own assets, make legal actions, can be prosecuted as an adult etc ...
yeah the age difference is absurd (like 900+ years ?!) it makes the later romance a bit unbelievable, but it would be absurd even if she was 30, with that big of a difference she would be a child to him even at 98yo ... but it is supernatural series , they usually go for a human spouse in those, so no help there I guess.
anyways she was an adult, she was homeless, had two jobs to supprt herself and managed her studies well as well as she planned for her future as much as she could afford, so she seemed perfectly capable of making an informed decision about her relationship when it happened 🤷

I say they all die and prince will be the king and the good bad mother queen will implode out of anger 😅 I root for the loyal captain and the prince , they're both very lovely characters so far the King's ok, not like he had too many choices to begin with so he gets some leniency, and Master Choem is cool at the very least, the rest can somewhat go to hell for all I care, they're all self-absorbed and cowardly people

biatch trying to kill him now huh, well honestly I am more and more baffled by how chaotic do both ML and FL behave. aren't they supposed to be the two most strategic brains in the Joseon according to the whole bakduk theme ?😅 like where is the strategy and calculation? I mean they seem to try sometimes, but those attempts all failed , mostly by their own mistakes soooo I guess the last two episodes will try to somehow make us believe it was all part of the plan all along with some noble sacrifices involved? but seriously, why did the FL involve the sixth secretary in her "treason (which I still don't understand what was originally to be like anyways?) she just told him everything,but never gave him any role whatsoever , she knew he had feelings for her thus making him unstable and she blatantly lived the king ...I mean , did she purposefully invite a person to make him the bad guy in any case ?😅 she seems to gain all her allies only to have them do either nothing for her and her plan at all, or go to their kinda expected death ... the King seemed a bit more rational considering he planned to give up the throne at some point probably, but maaaaaan he became as erratic and rash as her , putting everybody in danger along with him as well. I say the two of them are almost same menace as the main bad guy , they seem to unintentionally kill/endanger as many people as he does intentionally. It is kind getting a bit frustrating to watch, and the romance also seem to be kind of flat lately to be honest. Well I am curious how neatly will the show pack and tie itself in the end , after all this mess 😅😁

can someone pretty please explain to me, why do all these supernatural being want to be "human" so much?😅 unless there is some really major inconvenience obviously. I just can't phantom it 😅

well it's said that doctors make the worst patients I guess, then again they both are supposed to be really smart/logical-thinking people, one would say even if they have no regard for their own health risks , rhey would at least try to stop each other from chugging like that after taking medication not actively encourage it😅
but well it's a k-drama ,they are often kinda inconsistent with their characters 🤷 it just made me a little cringey at times here when they boast about their doctoring, especially the FL does it sometimes and ten minutes later she visits ML with bag full of beer after happily taking pre-desribed medication together 😅 the contrast was bit too much even for a rock bottom 😁
Anyways I think you might be right and the writers tried this method to emphasize how low in life they are, but I think they chose a wrong way in this particular case given the charactertics of the leads they've established.Anyways I am currently a bit sceptical about the drama for multiple reasons, so I am curious if I'll get to like it again 😁

it's a k-drama people, that means characters will get drunk as hell with ton of pink makeup on their faces ( still better than when that was being done by very bad CGI😁) , they will have most likely kind of toxic relationship and at least one non-sencical breakup. If you can't stomach any of these I suggest trying some completely other genre ? My coutry produces either few endless (and i mean 10+ years running) ,not-even-funny deama series, or a ton of crimi series. Seems to be our thing somehow? Anyways I assure you that it did not in any way inspire half the nation to become criminals just cause there is a murder on the tv every day... it's just a tv you know 😅 so yeah we have bunch of murders and very grumpy detectives, and a hospital drama that after 15years of runtime doesn't even contain the hospital and Korea has dramas with relationships that would give therapist nightmares and excessive "funny drinking" and the fooood !!!😁 that being said ,I do think that in this specific drama where they are both doctors actually (and claim to be good ones at that) they should've omitted the drinking since they're both on meds. Not because I think people are idiotic enough mot to know better after watching it, but because it seems very out-of-chatacter and distubrs the drama in that way.

I must say I really miss the more natural skinship of 2021/2022 dramas , is it just me, or are we now slowly reversing back to the same old akwardness and weirdly prolonged pecks from the past ? really it slowly feels that way since 2023, now I am just waiting if thwy start to keep the eyes open while kissing again 😅
anyway this has really good and believable chemistry between the leads , I liked it except the last episode's ending , it felt like the main couple had to really work hard to establish their relationship throughout the series and it felt unnecessarily negated in the end as they switched to being bsically two todlers

was watching Marvels ( since Marvel went kinda sideways I knew basically nothing beforehand ) and when prince Yan came out I was like "waaaait a minute !" omg omg it wa so much fun seeing him there like that dancing and whatnot . If you don't watch those movies ,I recommend at least watching a video from that scene lol

btw it is kinda fun how they look much younger in later dramas than here 😅 I am always having a mini bursts of laughter cause especially the F4 just looks like they cosplay the uniforms. Is it just me ? I know they were in their eraly twenties so the difference is not that big un reality, bud I think they made them look much older accidentally

my first k-drama back in 2010 ( it was really hard to watch them in my country back then😁😁😁) i am watching it for the nostalgia now 😁 man the cringe level is killing me , but it is sooo fun to go so back in time. not sure how many episodes wilI be able to last but I still love it 😁

I got kinda Death note vibe from it. It was cool , but the Song Chon story line was a bit too much, I think if they spent more of that time on Lee Tangs development it would've been much more interesting

Feeling a bit down so I had a quick re-watch, wishe there were more dramas like this where i actually love the relationship they have and it lasts basically whole series. no weird breakups/coma/year or two no contact scenarios. just relationship of two adults , maybe tad bit co-dependent but every couple has at least some issues ,and this is pretty normal one. it's a lovely pick-me-up drama. Also i love their chemistry, even made me wonder if they ever dated IRL,very believeble acting. I must say I kind of miss this genre lately

is it just me, or does it seem like her absolute mess of a revenge plan sole's purpose is to actually protect the king? i mean at the very minimum the one-eyes guy plans to kill the king otherwise, so far that seems to be her only realistic motivation and wouldnexplain that somewhat desperate reclessness rhat absolutely contradicts the character's set atributes (she should be somewhat genial right? if so her revenge so far makes no sense even if the result is dethronement).For one , if she dethrones the king there are way worse people to get the power and she knows it, also thw way she uses poor grand prince, who is killing it lately btw, is absolutely horrible. I don't know, so far i think she is more of abad guy than the king himself , then again, lot of the bad guys in the dramas started out with a "just cause" and derailed from there ....that would be kind of cool twist :D

this is quite unusual for me, I actually liked the ending episodes of this much better than anything before them. That is an interesting curve for a drama dmfor me . Honestly there were episodes where i really contemplated not finishing this, honestly if not binge-watched i wouldn't have made it till the end probably, which would be pity now 😁

judt finished 4th episode of doctor slump, and he once again persuaded me, tgat he's a king of romance. I really like his playing style for his male leads in love. don't get me wrong , he's a good actor in general, but whenever his role is to be in love fool, it really takes the spotlight

i think I'll just wait for the rest now, this frels too much for the next few episodes. I mean the main couple has huge issues in their own relationship , I feel like working on those would me much more realistic than adding whole murderous conspiracy with ton of bad guys. that being said , i was thinking from thw beginning tgat su-min was too different from the FL to just get her "fate" handed over. she would never let her husband treat her that way without a fight or let her self be trampled on until her health is destroyed. so at least I have to say it wasn't entiwrly unexpected that they had to add some other story line...however the whole yu-ra plot line feels like they went overboard
