To be honest I did not get used to the cut, it switched too much for my taste, I know it is basically a group drama, however the pace just did not sit well with me. I am trying some more underrated dramas, but this one was a bit of a miss for me.

First of all it is pretty impressive that it seems to get better this close to the finish line, did not see that coming . But let´s talk about the reaper, he definitely joined the cute-as-hell and seriously-idiotic-reaper-gear bunch. But I like his character more and more , his deadpans are awesome.

Riiiiight? at least they managed to finally give some blow back last episode !!! Good for them :D Also I kinda nejoy the saergant completely unaware of the fact, that he is a part of a live triangle LOL , poor guy.

To be honest the conspiracy is getting too big and confusing for me , I mean still I kinda do not understand why half if the things were done, I just know approx. who the bad guys are. It is kinda frustrating to see the king every time more and more. I somewhat get he wants to "protect " the prince...probably? But he cannot be this stupid now can he? AS for the romance, I do not mind the slow pace, however I feel like the chemistry was better before , I like how she is now basically openly flirting with him ? Joseon style tho LOL, however they seem to be somehow less in sync or something. And yes I do think the poster is misleading as hell, even if the romance is there indeed, it is definitely not the main focus and for starters she never ever wears female clothing, not like the other disguise dramas where they sometimes switch or let the hair loose, she is much more comfy in her eunuch persona it seems, so when I look at the poster every time I am like "who the heck is that ?" I don´t mind her staying his eunuch for the rest of their lives having it platonic kinda, for some reason it suits them, however my inner romantic freak kinda wishes at least one scene where he sees her as a girl for the reaction sake :D I mean he never met her as a "Girl" even when they were kids she crossdressed lol :D

Albeit a bit bizarre, I still quite enjoyed this drama. The acting was good given the absurdity of the plot and pulled it at a nice pace . I saw many dramas with much more awkward acting while having quite normal script than this crazy ride so kudos , especially to Sung Hoon I think. The main complaint I would have here is that obviously given the 10episode length we had quite rushed few episodes in the second half. And also I was quite pissed that they decided to make our heroine useless from episode 8th onwards. Don ´t get me wrong, I don ´t really mind some classic archetypes when it comes to romance dramas, but since they made really sure to establish that the FL is strong, fighter prodigy etc while our ML has "weak punch" I would rather they stick to the characters they´ve created. The last episode was the worst in terms of doing 180 on the characters , I was seriously expecting the guys arriving at the scene to "save the day " only to find out the FL took care of everything with her crazy skills established in the first half of the drama . Especially since her hands and feet were free. Well , that being said I still had more fun than anticipated .

I like his face the best with shorter , out of the forehead hairstyle , I think it brings it out the best. I really had a blast watching mood of the day, especially the train ride was awesome.

LOL I just watched Yoo Yeon Seok do a pretty similar out-of-the-blue "will you sleep with me now? "spiel in Mood of the day, somehow he pulls that approach perfectly. I would also waver in IRL I think. The characters, in general, seemed quite inconsistent and chaotic with their philosophies, however since in reality, people are often inconsistent and messy, I guess it´s okay for drama too, tho bit annoying.

not annoying per say, but this type of person can become pretty toxic to their environment if they refuse help repeatedly like Kim Dal seems to be doing a lot. What is the annoying part is that it is somehow depictured as attractive instead by the show. I wish they either did not overdone it so much or did not use it as a tool to push the romance forward is all. :) In the end it is just a drama in the tv , and one character I can ´t seem to like, however I am glad they started to pay a bit of attention to the rest of the group, that is a nice move I think

I like the drama itself kinda more with each episode, but I hate Kim Dal more with each episode. SEriously her center of the universe mentality puts me off so much . I mean she obviously has issues, like huge ones , tbh even the supernatural weirdos there are pretty normal compared to her. She has this really annoying victim mentality. I could probably empathise with her having survivor´s guilt , not to this extent tho, however even when Li Riz woke up she only concentrated on herself and her suffering only , also when Rembrary was obviously weird she dragged him to psychiatrist (I also kinda feel like there was lot of medical codex violation happening in that episode) not so much out of concern for him, but because of herself . The only thing I found likable about her was her calling him stupid blueberry. Other than that I am also sad the singing competition had in reality only two rounds , I kind of enjoyed that show inside the show and the songs were cool.
What is it with the reaper characters anyways? they are mighty fine in all dramas it seems :D

the spider scene gave me serious Ron Weasly & HP vibes, is it just me who had Secret Chamber flashbacks? :D

Well I don´t see the big appeal tbh, everybody knows their own sexual preferences at any stage of their life (ideally speaking) and it is them and only them that can know it in it´s complexity hence I never saw any reason to label anything or anybody , hence I was really surprised by all this commotion surrounding this dorama . People raving about grey zones and whatnot....seemed just like a bit boring couple with difference in their sexual dynamic to me past episode 3. Anyways I guess since I grew up on those now retro dramas where big finale is this grand closed-mouth, looks-like-they-are-both-dying-painful-death kiss and mere hand holding seems like mission impossible, I kinda could not seem to take the bait with the stakes here :D

I mean I knew he was a good actor, but I just love his performance in the Blooming Youth. HE truly makes me believe him all of the motions portrayed . Also let´s talk about Bong Soon and that drunken scene . That was the most epic drunken scene ever, I mean it had me go into cramps from laughing too much as well as yell "nooo" when Bong Soon interrupted. I mean does he have such a great on screen chemistry with basically any co-star or what is that ? Oh and lastly I truly appreciate that cute shape of nose and ears, don´t get me wrong he is very handsome overall , but as I have really bad face recognition skill especially in films and photos I make a habit of pointing out to myself attributes that stand out to me .

I started to get worried since I started to hit a funk with this drama (and as it is, I look forward to new episodes the most so that would suck) , but it turned around again. I mean the episode where she proudly announced she´d rather stay eunuch than marry just killed me. It was a hilarious scene all around. To be honest, I really like their dynamic and chemistry, it really makes me kinda sit on the edge of the chair waiting for at least one of them to realize and hopefully do something about it. But as this seem to be a slow burner I am trying to enjoy how cute they are as it is , since it´ll probably take forever for something romantic to happen (my bet is on the second lead couple to hit it on first at this rate ) . Some people complain about it being the same formula historic drama , but what is wrong with that? I ´d rather have maybe a similar but new good drama with similar feel to it come out every year than to resort to re- watch the oldest ones over and over again . If it works it works people. IF you get bred easily change genre , simple as that :D Also I think the chemistry here is quite unique, I really do believe the lead characters their emotions, all that smirking and bickering as well as googly eyes and they are actually getting to know each other, their secrets and learning to trust. Also I somehow liked when eunuch Soon Dol dressed p the prince, it was such a sweet scene , him trying to help her with that protective look at the same time smiling to himself. I think that is when he was a goner anyways :D I am glad this drama concentrates on these small moments as well as the usual melodramacy or just bickering as some dramas base realtionships on those two only .

He pulls that character of "doing idiotic and rush things , but being forgiven as soon as he behaves cutely " really well :D I feel like he would do well in one of those CEO from coms as he could probably get away with being a bit obnoxious prick , yet still somewhat lovable.

It is always girls pretending to be guys in these historical dramas so I was looking forward to see it the other way around. But man he´s so obviously a guy it is hilarious. I mean it had to be intentional since there are so many more androgynous actors so I just have fun with it. Well it is a enjoyable drama nevertheless :D

He seems to be more of a movie actor, but I loved 100 days my prince and I hope to see him lead some drama soon :)

I mean DILF seems to sum it up pretty much now. Apart from the swoony side, I loved how he did Jekyl and Hyde, one could truly see the difference even if the clothes were the same , just shows he´s a great actor. Also I feel like the Crash landing on you role as such a great fit . He seems to be focusing on movies now, but I hope I´ll see some new drama soon as well.
