(K-netizens comments) Knets disscus the new 12 episodes systems is it better than the 16eps one??, read full article…
That is something I generally agree with . There have been so many k-dramas that started out really well, but then lost steam as they tried to stretch out the season to 16 episodes. But this doesn't mean that there aren't exceptional cases (like this one) that fully deserve 16 or even 20 episodes.

So far I haven't been all that impressed by Korean remakes of western movies and dramas. Even those remakes that have been fairly good (Designated Survivor, Life on Mars, among others), they still haven't come close to matching the original. In other cases, the Korean remakes have been far inferior. Of course, part of it is that they tend to choose really good shows and films to remake, which sets the bar very high.

I've long been looking forward to this series. I still find it strange that they would postpone the release of a series for years just because one of the actors has a substance abuse problems. But I guess that comes with the territory when it comes to k-dramas. I have to admit though that I'm not really all that upset if they demoted Yoo Ah In to a secondary lead and cut back his screentime. I've never particularly liked his acting and have long felt some of his series (particularly Chicago Typewriter) would have been so much better hand they cast a better actor in his role.

I ended up really enjoying this quirky unusual little show (with the exception of Episode 9, which was too over the top even for me). Too bad Apple cancelled Season 2.

It's on YouTube now (at least in my region). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7L2nojPJg_s
I watched it mainly because I'm a Han So Hee fan. While both she and Han Hae In did their best, the plot was so muddled and confusing that it was a waste of their talents. It reminded me of a project by a film school student who got so carried away with technique, symbolism, and poetic touches that they forgot that the main purpose of a movie is to entertain by telling a coherent story. I give it a 5 out of 10, mainly for the actresses.

This movie is actually showing in the closest cineplex to my house beginning this weekend. This is more than a little strange as it's very rare we get Korean movies in the theatres here. The only other recent one was IU's concert film, "The Winning". But k-pop is fairly popular despite being on the opposite side of the world, which may explain why they picked up these 2 specific Korean movies. This one doesn't sound like the kind of movie I would normally bother with, but my daughter wants to see it, so I may take her.

While the story doesn't sound like anything new, I'll give it a shot mainly for Seorina. I've liked her in everything I've seen her in and its been too long since I last watched her in Twinkling Watermelon.

LOVE her too , ever since her Short 2 ep drama MY FANTASTIC FUNERAL alongside ChoiWoosik! (btw she actually played…
I agree that Train was pretty good. My main problem with it was that they were so focused on making the ML seem heroic that they criminally underdeveloped the character of the FL, who as played by Kyung Soo Jin, showed a lot of unutilized potential to have played a much more predominent and interesting role in the story. I thought they actually gave her more to do as the secondary lead in Mouse than as the primary lead in Train.

It took me awhile to get into the first season because its so unusual. But eventually I stuck with it and ended up being really glad I did. Despite the use of animation, there was something very realistic and highly believable about the way they depicted her dating life. I didn't like Season 2 quite as much. Though Kim Go Eun was equally good in both seasons, I think the novelty had worn off. But also the plot lost some originality by resorting to a tropey love triangle. I'm not sure how I feel about a third season.

its like the highest rated one out of all and actually good.
It has the most constant fight scenes and is easily the most graphically violent of any of the high school bullying kdramas, so its a favorite of viewers who are looking for that. Just don't expect much plot or character development. Don't get me wrong. It's very good for what it is. But there are other k-dramas that deal with the subject of school bullying in a much more serious realistic manner and with much better fleshed out characters. It comes down to what you are looking for.

I watched 'Snow White' and it has to be the worst Disney movie ever. After watching the movies, I was surprised…
Reading this comment, for a moment I thought I must be on a cetain other website that has been invaded by the usual gang of mysognistic incel trolls targetting the Snow White movie (which, by the way, is already a box office success and is doing much better among audiences than it has with critics). As regards k-dramas, I only really got interested in watching them in more recent years when they started introducing more independent assertive female characters. In many of the older k-dramas, all too often female characters were portrayed as either overly innocent nice girls with no interests or ambitions of their own beyond catching the attention of the male lead, silly airheads that get in the way of the ML, helpless damsels in distress needing to be rescued, or more seriously, regular victims of physical and emotional abuse from the male lead (excused because they are supposedly in love).
