We got another light and fluffy BL from Japan. I’ll never get tired of a soft-to-charismatic pairing as it has a potential they can explore to spice up their romance. In which, the drama showcases at least half of my expectations.
The innocent Taishin is undoubtedly a personification of the Japanese term, kawaii. Yet, at some point in the drama, I get bored. The lack of plot in the story created a bland flavor to the overall outcome. Takara is handsome but not enough to save the show and his character isn’t even that loveable.
Subjectively, the creepy old man stalker was the best climax of the show. I wanted him to be put behind bars. The next scenes after this were just mediocre. I’m not even interested in watching the sequel version from the end-credit scene. Takara no Vidro was another average stress-free BL show if you’re looking for a quick binge-watch.

The acting performances from the three of them made the drama more remarkable. Despite shooting in a limited location, episodes, and casts; the outcome was insanely great. Pond with his long hair and exposed chest is legendary. I am drooling at how sexy he is but more importantly, in awe of how great he is with the dramatic exchange of lines with Uncle In and his mother. A boy who is seeking an answer to the death of his father but eventually falls in love with his father’s true love. A complicated flow of events but I am buying it.
Nike, as Uncle In, is the definition of a daddy. I can’t blame Wang for shooting a fiery glare on those tight muscles. Both of them are too hot to handle. The more episodes I’ve watched, the deeper I wanted them to kiss. Those stares sent signals of them craving to eat each other but holding back because of their tangled relationship. The sexual tension is high and showcases a perfect atmosphere to convey the feelings of their characters,
They also introduced me to the story of a 52-hertz whale which is sad knowing how isolated it is while patiently waiting for someone to reach its place. It was a prominent concept in the drama as it visualizes the life of Uncle In. Not being together at the end was understandable and I love how the finale ended with taglines representing the lessons we got from the three characters; Wang, In, and the noisy mother. This has already carved their uniqueness in the BL history and I salute them for bringing a new trope to BL fans.
After waiting for ages, finally, it is here! The first episode is great. I love the angst at the start to the point that Thame’s annoyed me so much but he got me at the end. Est suits a soft boy character and grows so much as an actor. I am happy to see Pepper as an ex-boyfriend but not with his selfish character. The story is unique for a GMMTV setup. This is already giving me so much butterflies and I can’t wait to see more from the next episodes.
A big applause for how great they convey the deaf MF’s emotion. The perfect timing of releasing his uncertain emotions and sadness inside him when his mother passed out and was delivered to the hospital was a peak moment. The conversation and acting performance from the couple during their fight outside the OR was insanely great!
Am I too late? Yes. But is it worth it? Absolutely yes!
It got the hype it deserved. I’ve been adding this to my watchlist for so long and finally completed it today. The official trailer does not give justice to how beautiful this drama is. All the casts are new faces for me which makes it more memorable. They did not disappoint as everyone can act, with no cringe and underwhelming performances. It uplifts the overall impact to its highest level.
This show unexpectedly delivers a brilliant comedic approach to the story aside from the element of drama. I was laughing so hard during the interactions between the characters. They perfectly nailed it. Concept quality is above average too. My favorite is the transformation to a younger version from midnight until dawn. The child actor delivers the same personality as his older self; irritable but funny.
Offroad is the ace. I am astonished by how he conveys his role with ease. Daou is great too! He still looks so cute despite always being angry during the earlier episodes. Pond is the deity of handsomeness. I’m glad that they don’t turn him into an antagonist in his present life. Chu is an unforgettable character. She is pretty, cute, and the funniest among the crew. But when she cried, you’ll cry as well. The three-generation family is loveable, no doubt about that.
The charm from Daou and Offroad is so cute and I am always smiling whenever I see them in my social media feeds. It may not be the perfect drama for me but a high rating is worth it for how creative and entertaining this series is.
I finally caught up to the latest episode. And I can only say that THIS IS THE BEST FORCEBOOK SERIES! I was in cloud nine and their chemistry and acting improve a lot. The growth is insane from the Enchante days. A can say a lot of positive things about this drama but will save it for my review after the end of the show. Perfect 10 indeed!
I can't still believe that we got to witness JJ and Tor in one BL show as a pair. JJ is so freaking handsome and the police uniform suits him very well. The manliness of his stares and voice is fascinating. The storyline was pretty great too, and I can compose some theories regarding the plot that the drama offers us.
In only four episodes, they keep giving us kissing scenes that are too great! The infect-me-with-your-cold kiss was phenomenal! I love the tension between these two!
