I have a confession to make.As a ForceBook fan, I'm enjoyng more the PerthSanta's part so far.
Arm and Arc was still my favourite story. But yes, Yotha and Gun was pretty good as well.

This is the second ForceBook series that I genuinely enjoyed. The other one is Only Friend but their characters were too problematic there haha. On the other hand, Enchante and ABAAB were a meh for me.

Gun and Yotha’s storyline is doing good too. I like how it was light but at the same time, we slowly got to unveil the mystery behind Yotha’s past. The supporting cast plays a significant role here as well. It seems like we got to see many more GMMTV actors in the next few episodes

EP08 is a back-to-back-to-back love progress from our three couples. We are full of everyone’s development. I am not ready with ThomasKong’s intimate “touch my body” scenario yet I am not complaining. In fact, I love it and it was a good decision for their character to take things slowly.

Then, we keep up with RealHia as they cross the line and ignite the flames of their relationship. I want to see how they will handle the awkwardness after the kiss. Finally, the star of the show, my new favorite couple is here. PorTeetee stole this EP even with the minimal amount of screen time. It was the way Lee initiated to approach Ghajai and them falling in love with the smiles and stares alone. What a perfect introduction for their top-notch chemistry. I am happy to see that we have reached the climax of the show and excited to see more from these couples.

The SkyNani Effect

Let’s begin by saying that I’ve never watched the original Korean series and solely started binge-watching this after falling in love with several SkyNani edits on social media. And now I understand the hype and became obsessed with their whatevership. This is a bromance with a silent ‘b’.

When we get into the drama’s plot, we have several: tension, character development, bonding, lessons, and, most importantly, love confessions. This show gives me butterflies more than other BLs that aired last year. Saint and Shin are like a broken couple that reconciled and defines that love is sweeter the second time around. Sky showcases how years of experience hone him as an actor. There’s no doubt that he is the main character here, alongside Nani, who also carries out an outstanding performance. Their chemistry is top-notch!

Of course, the success of the series will never be complete without the excellent roles of each of the cast. Everyone nailed their characters. Mark Pakin is also the MVP as he portrayed Chadjen in the most realistic way possible. As a fan of South Korea’s school series (from 2015-latest), the primary goal of their shows is to convey to its audience the heartwarming youthful life of the students. Which, this remake version delivered it with a gratifying overall quality.

Most of us, the viewers, are students once in our life. I know that at some point, we can relate to the story. Personally, during my high school years, school is my home of peace. I will never make it without the friends that I shared joy and laughter with. Teenagers are too young to know everything and the best way to survive is by surrounding yourself with the right people. High School Fremeny is that school-based GMMTV drama that allows me to indulge in the nostalgic feeling of being a student once again.

To Saint and Shin, thank you for the beautiful story of your “friendship.”
On ThamePo Heart That Skips a Beat Jan 3, 2025
EP04 delivers another outstanding story progress from both Thame’s friendship and romance. I love this EP so much!

That rap battle was aesthetically cool. I felt like I belonged to the crowd, hyping and cheering for Team Thame. The script was well-written with utmost care, and it shows how smooth yet effective the reconciliation process was. Conflicts were resolved early to avoid unnecessary additional drama. I liked how light the show was.

The pattern of giving us the romance between the main characters at the end of every episode is a chef kiss. The long long long phone call between Thame and Po just reassured us that their chemistry is top-notch. Those sweet voices and exchange of lines give me butterflies. I am a big fan of slow-burn romance in which I couldn’t hold my scream anymore when Po fell asleep and awakened with Thame still hanging the call on the other end of the line, learned Po’s favorite song, and sang it to him first thing in the morning. Both characters are a green flag; honest, kind, and caring.

As early as now, I can say that GMMTV produced another masterpiece. This is a ten out of ten, no doubt about that!

I got tired of the nonstop thrillers and crimes. At least the press conference sparks my interest again, yet it solely focuses on romance.

A Thai BL with a Korean ML. I liked that the language barrier doesn't became a hindrance for a messy communication but instead, it turns out good and cute. I've seen some shows with similar characters played by two different ethnicity, they literally struggled to deliver the story with their dialogues that wasn't script-friendly and it sounds so awkward. The first episode has it's ups and downs since sometimes I feel bored yet sometimes I found myself smiling. The visual looks pretty. The Thai massage was a funny and sexy scene.

I loved how they gave us the twist from the friendship between Thame and Jun. It was well-written and they caught me off guard knowing that they deeply cared for each other. But the best thing from EP03 is when Thame returns to see Po in the tailor shop and memorizes his phone number—never seen it in any other drama. A person can only do this when the owner of the phone number is indeed special to them. Love it!

Euthanasia versus the law

I never knew that I would get to see JJ and Tor paired in a BL show one day. Indeed, it was a dream come true. Throughout the eight episodes, I keep murmuring the phrase, “JJ is so freaking handsome!” The police uniform suited him well which highlights his manliness charms. Plus, those sexy glares and voices were too much to handle.

The storyline was well written to the point that I found myself composing for some assumptions and possible twists regarding the real suspect for the sudden death of the palliative patients. The suspense is real! It also introduces the concept of euthanasia to the viewers, which is a serious topic that is discussed. A lot of countries, especially in Asia, are not too open to this medical approach. Which is reasonable due to its cons and needs a depth analysis for a law to be passed.

All casts give their best to perform their roles effectively. I don’t have any bad comments about the show as I fully enjoyed it as a whole. In the end, we got to see the Doctor confessing his involvement to his police lover. I liked how they came up with a finale that may be a sign of a possible sequel.

DaouOffroad translates syncing chemistry

This is a light BL that blends romance and comedy. They give us a set of loveable cast. Daou and Offroad’s first drama as a couple is surely a success. They look so baby here and their undying charms never disappoint. Even the supporting characters, from Phumjai’s family to their grocery store crew members, performed pretty great and they're all adorable.

Revolving around the store set-up, mini upside-down scenarios, and slowly falling in love were the pros of the show. However, the plot of debt at the end, unfortunately, ruined the fun and quality of the drama. Specifically, for them to leave the brother in the den of a scary business owner was an annoying turn-of-event for me.

Nevertheless, the show was good enough to include its unique element of the Mandarin-Thailand language as one of its major sources of love. It was a fine watch and offered feel-good BL vibes.

EP06, the beach episode, is the best episode so far. I was deeply giggling and happy with the things happened on this episode. The ThomasKong kissing scenes were addictively great!! It was so romantic omg they're so perfect for each other. Real and Hia's story is getting spicier now and I love it. I keep finding myself checking out for the next EP as I love this show despite the cringe school-based scenarios.
