I completed the first episode today, and it looks promising. Reunited and soon to reconnect. I feel like there’s a misunderstanding, eight years ago, and I want to see how they unveil each plot moving forward. The intern is so cute and handsome, too, so please add him to the cast list.
I am so invested in Seung Won and Hee Su’s story. One is clueless, and the other one is so sheepish to confess. I’ve known Lee Sang Jun since 2021 and am happy to see him in a BL drama. He is so cute, handsome, and sexy.

Teenagers tend to experiment and are easily swayed by minimal affections, disregarding the red flags. This is a story of four boys who face a complicated yet common discord among their generation. But before anything else, everyone probably knew that the aesthetic approach was the most notable element of the show. It was shown throughout their promotions and the creative set of OSTs. The appeal of colorful designs from accessories to their high-fashion outfits was all pleasing. They reintroduced gel nail art as a new trend, and I even want to try it myself.
Going back to the new gen topic, young people utilize technology and the internet not just to connect with one another but as a new platform to flirt and date. It is fun to witness a relatable scenario such as posting some random story to get the target audience’s attention. Setting up a playlist to add songs to listen to was also entertaining.
Building up the tension was the most explicit emotion I got from watching the series. They know how to spice up things and produce fiery plots. It started from Fou4Mod liking Chian, to Chian liking Bua, to Bua liking Baabin, but Baabin liked Fou4Mod. Then they gave us the cycle of who fell harder, lost the game, and the I-do-everything-to-make-him-jealous EPs.
Fast forward to EP05, it was probably the big pause from the four of them. The closure of the love triangle between Fou4Mod, Chian, and Bua was satisfying. But then, they level up the intensity on that one single video call scene at the end of EP06. They surely love to play with our minds to the point that I am content that no one should end up together at the end.
At the final episode, we got the conclusion for everyone’s story. Baabin and Bua ended up together while Fou4Mod and Chian reconnected. The confrontation scene during the random dance challenge was too perfect. All actors performed their roles so passionately.
Shooting the film through an iPhone was a brave decision for the production to come up with. However, it obviously has its cons. The majority of the shots are long distance, and it feels so draining that they break the 3-second rule when it comes to the duration of each sequence. Nevertheless, the story is so unique and bold that I found myself getting used to the camera setting.
Just finished EP01 and they obviously can do better than this. Nevertheless, I’ll give it another shot and chance. The highlight of this EP was Poon as being funny as usual. He can always make me laugh so hard. The non-stop dance challenge was hilarious.
It is an exceedingly complicated love story that perfectly captures a smooth pacing, plot, and storyline. There is no doubt that this drama received a lot of possible feedback because all of the elements are in perfect sync. The actors alone are well-cast. Every one of them perfectly performed their roles. This isn’t just the usual eye-candy set of actors since all four of them can act. The three admirers are literally serving good looks and setting aside their characters’ personalities, I might have a hard time choosing only one.
Jung Da On was the center of all the conflicts and love interests. His life is miserable enough to have a troublemaker and gambling-addict father. This unfortunate scenario in his life alone is unbearable. Which, I understand how he became independent and polished a strong yet fragile personality.
Sin Jae Min is a real psycho. His obsessiveness towards Da On wasn’t a genuine love but more of an obsessive love disorder. The uncanny things he did just to get Da On’s attachment towards him was so creepy. He is scary because of how he seems genuine at first but hides indefinite secrets behind your back. Extreme love can make someone lose their sanity.
Kim Su Hyeon on the other hand seems a maniac outside but has an overflowing care inside. He honestly loves Da On yet his action was not valid at all. No one deserves to be shouted at and possessed, treating you like a thing or an object they own. I admire his inner devotion to protecting Da On at all costs but he should learn how to love himself first before loving others.
Ju Seong Hyeon was the MVP of the series. This man deserves all the love from the world. He is the softest and most reliable man for Da On. A walking green flag as stated by many. I feel so sad and pity him for having to experience all the dejected things before ending with Da On. I love him the most and his smile heals everything. I am so happy to see him become Da On’s boyfriend at the finale. He has been my number-one pick since day one.
This is one of the best BLs aired after a long time. It wasn’t that perfect but it surely delivers a unique plot and overwhelming emotions every episode. I hope to see more future projects, hopefully, BL shows, for the casts.
After watching EP06, I feel so sad for Ju Seonghyun. He’s so kind that I hope he does meet someone who will not make his love so hard. But he likes Da On and all he can do is to fight for his love against the sturdy walls that also chase Da On. Anyways, Jaemin is a real psycho.
I just caught up with the first EP and love the concept, especially the execution that does not disappoint. JossGawin blended so much with the right amount of chemistry and presented their individual charms combining into one great pairing. Joss is all hot and sexy while Gawin is all cute and sassy. The sexual tension between them is so high that I’m eager to see both of them eating each other like there’s no tomorrow.
THE EMOTIONS on that single video call at the end of EP06. They’re playing with my heart and I hope no one ends up together at the finale to come up with a fair ending. Fou4mod deserves a better guy than Chian but Fou4mod does not deserve Baabin. Baabin deserves a better guy than Fou4mod. Bua deserves Baabin but Baabin does not like him so hopes he can find someone that reciprocates his love. Chian needs to move on and redemption is okay but going back together may indeed create another hurtful situation in the future. Love the dynamics that this show is giving from the characters alone.
Ju Seong Hyun is super clingy and super cute. I love him the most. And the ending of EP05 was so intense. Please let Seong Hyun be the end game for Da On. (Please don't spoil me for who is the end game if you already knew, cause it might ruined the fun for me)
It pains me to drop this after 19 EPs suddenly but I can't help but feel bored and bland on how things became. This is probably the best main couple role for ForceBook and how I wish they ended the series after their story. It went from a perfect 10 rating into an instant 4.5 rating for me.
EP05 is probably the best episode so far. It focuses on Bua’s story but delivers the conclusion between everyone's feelings. The tension between Fou4mod, Chian, and Bua was intense. I am also happy that somehow, I feel like Baabin is finally letting go of his unrequited love. The ending was satisfying.

Korean BLs with multiple couples are rare these days and I am so happy to see not just one but three pairing in one show. They keep getting cuter every single episode. A sports drama with charismatic leads.
The light vibes were adorable and matched the energy between Ji Woo and Deok Won’s love story. They are just a fluffy pair with adorable scenes. The second couple is also doing great as I found myself smiling during their storyline. Special mention to the Captain’s sexy body.
As you noticed, they have a problem with executing a smooth sequence of plots. This sure created a bit of an underwhelming element to the overall enjoyment of watching but at the end of the day, I was entertained and that’s the most important factor.

I want to re-experience those butterflies in my stomach moments when I watched the first few episodes when Thame and Po are just starting to flirt and get to know each other. Its sequence of having two parts of the story per episode was clever. Every EP begins with Thame trying to win back the hearts of his members and the last part focuses on Thame and Po’s romance. It covers my favorite moments from the show. One is when Thame memorized Po’s number. Second was the very long phone call with Thame learning Po’s favorite song overnight to play it to him. And of course, the jealousy scenes.
Throughout these EPs, I am patiently waiting for Friday to come faster. Not until they ruined Jun’s character and used him to align the romance between the main couple. I hate that they made it so evident that Jun admires Po to some extent. But select the latter to conceal his feelings and reason out of helping his dear friend Thame to realize things. I know that ThamePo will be the end game but they can make a better conclusion to Jun’s story.
Right after this EP, we’re back again with the same issue of who stay and who should leave Mars. It was too dull and repeated, together with the break-up scenes. The downfall from having a perfect ten to nearly reaching an 8-9 score was dissatisfying. At least the concert at the end was good enough for me to realize that this show still deserves a 9/10 for the overall impact.
A few more notable elements were the set of beautiful OSTs and Est and his greatness in delivering his role as a soft and gentle lover. He is so pretty even when he cries that I want to see more of his dramatic scenes in the future.
