The emotional buildup for Odajima is impressive. From having a sorrowful background family that he has killed as his father is inhumane, and his mother/older sister wished to be dead. having no one by his side after his best friend's death. I love how he finally gets to live again and experience life with Kataoka, who genuinely and eventually nourishes Odajima's dying soul.

Title At 25:00, in Akasaka Spoiler
Embodying their on-screen characters’ story into their own

Lovely! At first, I was expecting a spicy and intimate kind of relationship. But it turned out even better. A polar opposite pairing of a popular model-turned-actor and a very direct rookie actor. Their fake-to-real dating story was entertaining and interesting.

What I love the most about this drama is how respectful Asami is towards Shirasaki. It makes his quiet personality more charming. He always lends a helping hand to Shirasaki to the best of his ability. The scene when Asami comfortably cuddles Shirasaki and asks for the things he likes was super cute.

Shirasaki is getting the fame he deserves after the notable confession scene was commendable. The drama does not offer much drama outside the story of the couple. They focus more on the angst and how both character will slowly connects. Yet, the addition of a new character, Kazuma, indeed makes the tension more exciting. I’m such a big fan of jealous scenes where we can see more cute sides of the couple.

The opening song was so good. I perfectly admire how they edited the whole introduction with a simple yet cinematic bunch of photos from the two. We also got a special EPs during the university days of Asami, wherein we witness how he fell in love first with Shirasaki. The throwback scenes were a nice addition to emphasize the feelings and pure intentions of Asami.

I actually like the pacing of the story, even though it took them too long to open up and embrace their feelings for one another. It is part of them reuniting after a few years, taking note that they didn’t even become close in the past. The walls have always been built for someone we are not yet close to, except for extroverts, in which both Asami and Shirasaki are definitely introverts. I feel so light and happy watching the show. Yes, some elements need more polishing, but the important thing that matters the most is the overall emotion you felt by watching it every single EPs.

On Alice in Borderland Season 3 Sep 27, 2025
Arisu versus Borderland, the rematch

Honestly, I think the majority of us can agree that them clearing up all the games from the second season was already a great conclusion to the story. Yet, knowing that a Joker card does exist in all card decks, I am loving the way they utilized this as the final season of the franchise. Do they manage to pull up a good season? Yes, but compared to the prequels, this season was obviously the weakest. Still, we can’t deny the fact that they showcase another banger story; however, with less impact on the viewers.

The one thing that I hated the most about this show is how all the survivors from the games lose their memories when they come back from the real world. As a viewer, I wanted them to be reunited with the memories of them all fighting for their lives inside the game, and creating new memories living their second lives in the real world. This is also the reason why the rulers managed to bring back old players to participate in a rematch game of survival under the Joker games.

We only have very limited games this season, but they are more than enough to carry out a dramatic and creative execution of stories. Meeting new players and alliances, Arisu once again led the team with his compassionate and strategic mind with enhancing the capabilities of his teammates. As in the previous seasons, Arisu will never survive without the help of other players.

Here is my ranking of the games from toughest to weakest presentation.

Semi-final game: Kick the Can
With a limit of ten chances to survive, this is a team fight with straightforward instructions that involves speed and power. It became a relay game for everyone. This is the game where they showcase how Arisu and his alliances deeply bonded over the short amount of time they shared from the previous games. At the end, they managed to survive, with three teammates unfortunately died.

Second game: Zombie Hunt
A card game with the twist of zombie, shotgun, and vaccine. Inside the Institute of Virus Research facility, players must survive by either becoming a zombie or healing others back to their humanity. It is a cool twist that needs a clever way of convincing other players. Arisu being a zombie since the beginning was good, but it needed to present more context after the revelation.

First game: Fortune of Luck
This may seem so basic at first, but this tested the players’ intellectual strength. Solving scenarios and equations that involve actual numbers in a limited time was such pressure for everyone. Knowing that a random fire of arrows may strike out depending on the margin of errors was truly terrifying.

Semi-final game: Tokyo Bingo Tower
Endurance, balance, and tough strength until hitting the bingo. It was fine that players needed to climb up the Tokyo tower and hit the button all around the corner, but I feel like the metal balls falling from the sky were so random. We don’t even see them when Usagi is climbing the peak of the tower.

Third game: Runaway Train
This is a game where Arisu and Usagi finally get a glimpse of each other, with such a dramatic train situation. Yet the game itself was tough luck, and you needed to think outside the box or literally think outside the train. Stay, and you will breathe poison gas.

Final game: Possible Futures
Nah. This game was kind of a meh for me. I was expecting a full-blown championship game. But similar to the last game they played before, this is a game of testing one’s desire and temptation in securing his own future. The take from this game is that an alternate reality was too much of an option if you think about the logical reasoning to at least survive the game. Hailing Arisu as the winner was kind of breaking the game's rule that they set for the players, since the rest of the players were finally able to exit from the digital double rooms. Taking place in Shibuya was too amusing.

Side game: Dodging Lasers
Intense yet feels too much for the wheelchair man manages to survive this with the help of Usagi and the people he used as a human shield.

Think. Think. Think. As Arisu always says when he faces an oddly life-and-death situation. The games are the major charm of this series. But the players themselves are the reason why the audience loves the show. Ending the finale season with Arisu interviewing all past players we fell in love with from the prequel seasons was heartwarming. Everyone is living their life to the fullest. Such a nice way to finally conclude the franchise.

My wishful thinking is that Arisu and Usagi celebrated the birth of their first child with the presence of all the people that they met as co-players inside the alternate world. With them having the memories from the past and securing their futures in the real world with the support of everyone.

Wow! The first EP was such a thrilling and fun introduction to the story. A Yakuza BL was such a treat. The actors are all so good-looking. And the R-18 scenes were probably good as a startup to the show.

Title My Bias Is Showing?! Spoiler
Has the visuals, but hope they can show us better story pacing

As expected for a Korean BL, the visuals are serving! All four of them are considered to be handsome. However, my favorite among them is the cousin of the MC, manager Ji Kyu Sung, also known as Hong Jun in real life. He can be manly and cute at the same time. I also love his character here. I just wish the second couple had more screen time and story, because their story and chemistry are equal to or greater than the main couple.

The story of a fanboy and a fan being together at the end sounds like a cliché. But in this show, I was invested in the plot twist that also became a double-edged sword for the main couple. I enjoyed the early days of flirting and slowly falling in love with the revelation that the idol star has its own motive for approaching Ae Jun.

Which also leads me to be disappointed in how they resolved this issue. It seems so fast, and the scenes were not convincing enough. I liked that they let Si Yeol hurt a little longer for what he deserved for betraying Ae Jun. But his character was just total trash when he tried to reconcile with the teacher without apologizing first. Also, Ae Jun forgiving him immediately after showing his room full of posters of his face seems unexciting and not well-written.

It is pretty enjoyable BL with a light story and an eye-candy set of cast. However, we can just disregard the lack of creative writing of the storyline, especially since the plot has the potential to be presented more entertainingly and reasonably. Nevertheless, I still had a great time watching this show.

Title Shine (Orchestric Ver.) Spoiler
OutSHINE my expectations

A story of fighting for freedom from capitalism, corruption, and life in general. This gives such a powerful message to the audience: the deep and meaningful reference to real-life situations where politics can destroy the lives of its people. As a viewer, I can sense the authenticity that the show aims to convey. They nailed and devoured the concept. The thing I love the most about this series is the way they wanted us to be more engaged and aware of the government system and how the public deserves the right leaders in society.

It keeps on shining every single EP. Everyone is smoking in this show, which connects to how stressed the characters are in the story. The protesters, who were composed of the students, versus the government army, was such a powerful scene. Victor might have left the world, but his strong will remains in the souls of everyone. Trin and Tanwa having a good ending was the silver lining after such a depressing conclusion to the rest of the characters.

Here comes my favorite part, the love story between Krailert and Naran. Two kind-hearted lovers who were divided by social responsibilities and the path they had chosen in life. Son Yuke was the main reason why I decided to watch the show. This is my first time watching him, and I am already invested in every single scene he has. I got enchanted by his handsome face, sexy posture, and manly physique, especially in that police uniform.

Going back to the story, the Colonel and Naran both love to write and eventually got to fell in love with each other. I was shocked by how great their story was. It feels like they are the main couple here more than MileApo. It is so damn romantic how they incorporate the '90s setting and use the library as to exchange of communication for these two. The chemistry and tension are top-notch!

Way to go with such a very very great execution of intimate scenes. I was in awe of how professional Son Yuke and Euro were during these shots. It was so hot and really brought out all the flavor of the fantasy I wanted to feel from their romance. Klai Rung and Sarasawadee being the whole city’s couple of the year was such a treat.

It is so obvious that Krailert and Naran will not end up together. Yet, the thing that shocked me the most is that all this time, Dhevi is the mastermind to possessed Krailert all by herself. This girl does the most unexpected evil things against Krailert. At the end, she wins and even bears a child from him.

“Some things do not need to be spoken aloud. Some answers are better left quiet, unannounced, because we already know them, deep down.” I am crying the whole time listening to Naran’s last message to Krailert before his last appearance in the finale. As Krailert said to Trin, he has chosen this path and has to face the consequences. That was a good cry from this couple. I still love them from my heart.

Aside from all of these, I would also like to mention that the set of OSTs is all so beautiful. I love it so much as far as I love the exposure of their butts and muscles. The fight for democracy is still growing in the real world. I want to thank everyone behind this amazing show for compiling an eventful and timely story for the world to consume and see for themselves.

Title Kill to Love Spoiler
Divided by kingdoms, united by hearts.

A historical love story of two princes-turned-kings and how they continue to love each other despite their complicated title as rulers. Both of their background stories were saddening; Shu He lost his mother, and Zi Ang lost his entire clan except for his brother. A few years later, they meet each other, and the beginning of lies and deceptions. I love the chemistry and build-up of their characters in every single EPs.

I just wish to see more martial arts scenes without the basic sword fights. Yet, I fully understand that they are more focused on the story rather than the fight scenes. The crown prince's role is too hateful, especially when he is the reason why the sixth prince's fingers were badly injured and stopped him from playing the arts anymore. Politics can corrupt one’s mind and turn their roots to evil.

The way I was flabbergasted by their first kiss in the middle of arguing was too memorable. No more China’s bromance and BL-censorship, we win. EP08 was probably one of my favorite endings from the show. The time when they realized that their royal status was a hindrance to their relationship and decided to let go.

Eventually, both of them became ruler of their respective nations. This is the most exciting yet traumatizing part. The show’s title, “Kill to Love,” is extremely presented when Zi Ang annihilated Shu He’s kingdom, then holding him like a caged bird. His obsession with being reunited with Shu He is the only thing that matters to him the most. Building a replica of the sixth prince’s residences was actually so romantic.

At the end, Xiao Shu He chose to die, with Duan Zi Ang embracing him and then following him to the afterlife eventually. A tragic ending, yet a very reasonable one for such a complex love story. Both of them died at the end, but at least they were finally able to rest peacefully from the chaotic world of power and desires.

Fluffy and almost a head-turner kind of story

Good start. Despite the common to-do list type of story opening, it still manages to make the show interesting. Most people, especially those who are single for a long time, can relate to Suzume’s emotions; both enjoying their own company and experiencing loneliness sometimes. It was a good storytelling of the life of a 39-year-old corporate worker.

Tojo Suzume is still as cute as ever, even though he is already in his late 30s. It is also adorable how he loves to collect plushies. The boss-coworker relationship is interesting. Yet, I wish we could see more lovely scenes from them after they became an official couple, before it ended. I must say that the chemistry is just average. Age gap does not affect my enjoyment of watching them. Maybe, if they can present more light intimacy, it might look better.

The office scenarios were okay, too. That one particular EP, when the team needs to put in an all-nighter to complete a project, was a fresh breath of air EP from the show. I like the side stories too, but they tackled these during the vulnerable times of the MCs. I feel like the negative aura from the MCs was pulling the side-stories to put side. Overall, the story was okay, the actors performed good, and the pacing just needs some improvements.

On The Proper Way to Write Love Sep 17, 2025
Deceiving title or I’m just expecting a lot of pain

Not gonna lie, I am always a big fan of Japanese BLs and how they executed a devastating melancholic storyline. From the synopsis, I’m sensing a sad romance of a bully and its victim. Yet, it turned out differently from the drama. It was light, unmessy, and simple.

With the two main characters, they seem fine. But at the end of the day, the chemistry wasn’t that strong either. I like the cute and minimalist color tees of Natsuo. To be fair, the Hiro from high school and the Hiro as the hairstylist in the present really do look different.

I don’t know how they came up with the title as I can’t actually derive and connect it to the story, both in a literal and metaphorical way. The drama and all of its elements were average. It is kind of interesting but it was just strongly delivered the expected outcome from its potential.

Started plain, ended up sweet

To be honest, the first few EPs feel bland, but I’m happy that I stayed. After EP04, I slowly started liking the show. Jun Xi was the star of this show. His cuteness brings a happy mood and energy to the show. Han Tou, on the other hand, was serious and tended to be jealous most of the time. To the point that I kinda annoyed at him at first, but his character grew on me eventually.

The entry of Jun Xi’s older brother, Yu Shu, adds more spice to the story. He is so handsome, hot, and adorable. Seeing him on screen just automatically makes me smile. I love how manly yet appealing his aura is. Jun Xi’s mother and father are also great parents.

Everyone performed pretty good. Even the emotional scenes were properly executed. The title itself may sound so serious, but the storyline was soft and pure. I liked it. The ending was a perfect conclusion to the show. Them talking about the wedding rings was my favorite part.
