I'm sorry, I don't know. After finding all that out, I stopped reading the manhwa. I think I've read less of the story than what the drama adapts. As for the female lead not setting healthy boundaries… Well, that’s a very common and annoying phenomenon in many manhwas and dramas. Unfortunately...😭
Okay, I found an old Reddit post; maybe that explains it better.
" The reason for breakup wasnt love triangle, it was because of the mc's self-esteem falling apart due to multiple, and i mean multiple, reasons. he also started suspecting kyungwoo (over 300 chapters in) and the guys she was interacting with at her work, to which he repeatedly told himself was his own delusion and he started to also hate himself more because of it. its definitely not "misunderstanding caused by kyungwoo -> lead to breakup", in fact kyungwoo was even trying to resolve misunderstandings between the couple
id even say indirectly they got back together because of kyungwoo acting as the trigger (betrayal), and this trigger happened as the couple had broken up for 2 months and juyoung repeatedly said he was "losing feelings" for the girl. I hope you give it a read because it is genuinely peak. i was fully immersed throughout, and everything absolutely works out after they finally get back together stronger than ever with a much better relationship and bond than ever before.
Altho for me during my read, kyungwoo's feelings were a HUGE plottwist because it was only revealed like 250+ chapters in, during which i was thinking the whole time that he was the biggest bro for his best friend and their relationship, without realizing it was more complicated than that. it was so painful reading it especially his perspective because of how much guilt he was feeling - he already felt like a scumbag because girls would fall for him while dating his friends and stuff, now he ended up falling for the girl dating his best friend who he did wrong in the past and was trying to make amends.
There is a breakup arc tho and its quite painful, i just wanted to say it wasnt solely caused by a third-party. But yea, if you are up for it, please give it a read! it might be a hassle but i guarantee you it is absolutely worth it!"
Mc and Kyung Woo fought, cuz he confessed when the girl is sleeping in a bench park. He said it without knowing mc is behind him. And yes, later on, it’s the FL who follows him everywhere. I don't know much about it because I read the spoilers a long time ago.
I haven't watched it, so I don't know how much of the story is covered here, but I've already dropped the manhwa. Someone told me what was going to happen later. The male lead’s best friend tells him that he’s in love with the FL too. The ML has low self-esteem; he thinks he’s not good enough for her and that his friend is a much better match for her. He keeps his distance, and eventually they break up. Of course, they end up getting back together. I think there’s also a timeskip before that.
No. The emphasis was not on the past lives, but on the relationship between the main characters and how they find…
Yes, if you're mainly interested in the past lives, you won't find much about that in the webtoon. I read it for the romance, and I prefer how the webtoon handled it, both for the main and secondary couples. The reincarnation theme gave it a very unique flavor, but as I said, that's just the starting point. Of course, the female lead's curse was also addressed, but it wasn't as overly dramatic as it is here. All in all, I like the original work more.
in the webtoon are the past lives of Jieum explained/shown more??
No. The emphasis was not on the past lives, but on the relationship between the main characters and how they find each other again after being tragically separated in her 18th life. Only a few details from her first life were shown. Everything else was made up for the TV series.
I'm sorry but I stopped watching after the 5th or 6th episode, I don't know how the TV show ends. But if you tell me how it ends, I can tell you if it's the same or not.
This series has no real plot, some ultra cliché tropes, bad acting by the main villian and support actors, but…
Yup! The romance is almost non-existent and the rest of the story is not interesting enough. The incompetence on the part of the so-called secret agents is laughable, not in a good way. Dropped after ep. 9.
I just copied it here. That's all I know. Sorry.
I think I've read less of the story than what the drama adapts.
