Now this is the kind of story I really like! Action, fantasy (or sci-fi) with good romance. This TV series is really different than most dramas. Their relationship is so mature, they are open about their feelings. There are no stupid misunderstandings, love triangles etc...
I like the relationship between the main characters, but I don't care about the rest of the plot. I never liked stories about investigations. I only watch it for the romance, and skip the boring parts.
To be honest, I don't really like that they changed the story from the webtoon. So I put this on hold after episode…
Here are some comments from reddit. I think these pretty well sum up the differences. Warning! Spoilers!
- The first meeting between jieum and seoha, in the webtoon, there is no stalking and all that, they meet once and it was short
- The step mother character, the seoha's mother reincarnation, not in the webton
- Seoha's being in Jieum's first life, not in the webtoon
- Chowon character's job, social life and characterisation. She has her own company and the heiress to the family , she is not having anything relating to landscaping
- The dad's character, in the webtoon he is more like dad who don't know what to do and end up being a cold dad, he isn't angry, yell or being harsh
- Truck Driver identity was unrelated to anyone in the webtoon
- Mingi being all suspicious and look malicious
- The repercussion of telling people about the reincarnation, it isn't in the webtoon
- the pool scene, in the webtoon, the young in the 18th life spend most of their time in the library
- How Jieum redirect seoha to find out about her, she lets him find the clue himself and the revelation was more out of plan in the webtoon
- Do-yun's father worked in a factory and was killed by corporate negligence, completely unrelated to Seo-ha. Seo-ha and Do-yun met through Do-jin, as Seo-ha saved him from some bullies. That's another major reason that Do-yun avoids Cho-won, as he doesn't like rich people and she's friends with many of them
-In the comic Seo-ha's uncle was his maternal uncle, which is why he was motivated to cause the accident - he was mad that Seo-ha's dad didn't seem to care about his deceased wife and wanted him to make him worry about someone close to him. The accident was supposed to be minor, as in the drama
- In addition to the changes with Cho-won's character mentioned above, there is a lot more development of Do-yun and Cho-won. There are several scenes where Cho-won is drunk and with Do-yun, and she hits on him and he resists her. Until one time when she says "let's go out" and he says "Shall we?" thinking that she won't remember. She passes out after that. There is also a lot more with people giving Do-yun a hard time for working for Seo-ha and asking him "so are you going to marry a rich woman and mooch off of her next?" Ji-eum wing mans for Cho-won a lot, often confronting and teasing Do-yun about how he suppresses his feelings for her, and even at one point tries to make him jealous. In the scene where Do-yun gets drunk (he accidentally gets drunk, he purposefully never does because he doesn't trust himself around Cho-won) Do-yun kisses her hand, which she has in front of her mouth, instead of almost kissing her. Also Cho-won doesn't confess to Do-yun as a teenager, but rather she tries to as an adult years later after they met again, but he circumvents her ("There's someone I like, how should I confess to him?" "Don't confess to him, he won't accept it.").
- In the comic Seo-ha's aunt and cousin are basically the same antagonistic role as the stepmom and stepbrother
- There is far less about Ji-eum's past lives. The drama makes up, like, almost all of them.
- Ae-gyeong has a lesser role and doesn't get sick at all.- Ji-eum wasn't raised by Ae-gyeong, she is friends with her as an adult but she suffered through her horrible upbringing and wasn't able to find Seo-ha except for once, since her family kept taking her money. She didn't stalk Seo-ha.
- Min-gi and Ji-eum are already friends when the story starts and IIRC know each other because were friends from a past life. They already know why they keep reincarnating and are trying to solve the problem.
-Min-gi also wasn't in Ji-eum's first life. Only one character was and it isn't Seo-ha or Min-gi
The webtoon is about moving on and stop thinking that the curse is bad as it helps her to meet seoha again, it doesn't matter who she choses in the past since the past is not the point, it's about seoha in this life and how she had left him in the most agonizing way back in the 18th life but the drama mixed up here and there and it felt like they don't like the webtoon original plot so they changes it.
To be honest, I don't really like that they changed the story from the webtoon. So I put this on hold after episode…
I usually skip the drama adaptation if I've read the original story. In this case, I just wanted to watch my favorite scenes from the webtoon, but I couldn't stand the changes.

I've only watched 5 episodes, so I don't really know. But many people have written that they introduced too many subplots for a drama with only 12 episodes. It looks like their fear of rushing things through has come true.
I'm on episode 20 and I'm increasingly agreeing with you. I like the idea that the mc is not a goody two shoes, but somehow I'm not as excited for the next episodes as I am for other dramas. I think I'll put it aside for a while.

They make no sense.
So I put this on hold after episode 5.
