Who said that I hate WYF? There's a difference between not sympathizing and hating. It is how it is; you sympathize with some characters according to their deeds and others not. She made the same mistake the second time. Sorry, at this point, I can't sympathize with her anymore. That doesn't mean I hate her. Reading your comment makes me sense that you somehow got too emotionally involved.

As I said, there are rare cases in which dramas are better than books. As for the rest you mention, it's a matter of taste. The difference is that WYF is more confident and a fighter in the book. That's how I receive it. Even the book can be received from a different point of view.

That's why I like the book more than the series at this point. In the book, WYF is more of a fighter and confident. She fights and reclaims her love. In the previous episode, she went to her mother and confidently spoke to her aunt and this stupid uncle, and now she has run away. Seriously? Especially now that she knows how much SY would support her, no matter what. He said it very often.

They changed the main plot—a mistake, a colossal mistake. There was a reason the book was a success. That's why, in rare cases, a film or a series overtrumps the book. (As a novel writer this gives me a content feeling that books will always have an exceptional value.)
This change has given me a total sour taste for the whole series. I can't sympathize with the FL anymore. Even though they will be together in the next episode and there will be a happy ending, the act of her leaving will linger in the back of my mind, giving me the feeling she doesn't deserve SY. From now on, I will only root for SY.
Of course, I won't watch episodes 24+25. I prefer to stick to the book. And finally this change is going to have an impact at end how I will rate this series. 😎

So far they changed only minor things, no main points with crucial impact on the plot. A break up would crucially change the plot. So, impossible they route for this.

The scene with the bracelet must be when they will have a fight, because WYF hid from SY her injury caused by her sick uncle. They fight before SY goes to Yihe. But WYF will travel after him. That's according the book.

Don't be scared because of ep 24 trailer. It must be a flashback. In the novel there's almost a whole chapter with a flashback, WYF remembering all her struggles. After that flashback she will tell SY the truth about all what she had experienced.

Yes, they changed some things in the story. I also think they did it to create more agony. Seeing some reels on TikTok, we can see that SY has an injured hand. I'm sure they will keep the main line of the story.
