Here's how I interpret the whole story. From the very beginning, the first episode indicated that Gao Hai Ming already knew Lin Huan Er; it was she who couldn't remember him. She made fun of the book, but it was actually their love story. So she had to live through every experience again, and then she regained the memory of him. How Gao Hai Ming experienced this complete love story, how he was transported to the present, and how he still remembered her, remained unclear. That's another story, another book. But I sense the pager played an important role. 😊
Now, she put a Band-Aid on his forehead, and he became overly obsessed with her because of that? What would he done in case she had to give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation? Seriously, this Band-Aid action was just an act of kindness! 🤨🙄
So now ML's mother thinks FL is the girl SML talking about and the one he likes. Are they setting up like later…
Well, I think FL will quickly clarify who she liked first, but I think ML’s mother still won't like her, and that's when ML will decide against his mom. As she did by marrying the guy who's responsible for her 1st husband’s death. Karma is always hitting hard. She can then SML. At this point a want to underline I haven't read the book, these are just my thoughts.
When I first watched the trailer for Our Generation, I got the feeling that it would be much better than "The Princess Royal." I must admit that I was disappointed after watching 10 episodes. It's not that Our Generation is bad, but it isn't particularly intriguing, and doesn't make you eagerly wait to watch the next episode as soon as possible. It is so, I put it on hold and wait for the last episodes to be aired to binge-watch it. 😏
So far, it's an excellent and well-written series. A possible explanation for the low rating is that this series is not about bees and butterflies. It shows the cruel reality, but through this, it seems that a genuine, sincere love will evolve between Qiao Qing and Ming Sheng—a love not typically depicted like in other series, where there is much kissing. This series goes deeper; it's about a love that helps each other overcome their trauma. It has an exceptional quality; therefore, it also has a special audience. 😉❤️
I don’t think the writers were trying to gloss over Yifan’s trauma or make light of it. The story is showing…
They changed episodes 24 and 25 to emphasize her trauma, which is okay. But in episode 27, the writers did a lazy job of explaining how she got over it. When you make changes, do them properly.
HAHAHA Sleeping together can heal trauma as they say.
They slept, but before they slept, they fought because WYF didn't tell him that she had fought with her uncle and gotten injured. SY was informed by her colleague. So they fought, and after two days of not speaking to each other, WYF ran after SY, meeting him in Yihe. The conditions there were different before they slept together. Writers made changes in episode 24+25. If you read my initial comment more carefully, you would be able to understand what I'm trying to say.

It's kind of funny, reading how people are trying now to turn things around after yesterday's outrage here, writing that some can't understand the depth of her trauma. I don't address you personally. As for the change they made in ep 24+25, this undermined, in my personal opinion, their story.
Well, well, well, writers of The First Frost. You changed the main plot in ep 24+25, as many wrote here yesterday, to emphasize WYF's trauma. Good. Then you should have continued to focus and explained it better in the next episodes. In one episode, 27, WYF and SY come together. She just tells him what exactly happened in the past, and then they sleep together. Seriously? That's how someone gets over a trauma? Then, dialogue like: "You disappearing was what destroyed my world. I love you." or "I don't deserve you" or "I forgive you." When you change the main plot, you should do it properly and not just jump back to the novel, as this will cause a break in the progress. That's the reason I always say: Don't change the main plot!
