After watching 6 episodes I dropped When the Stars Gossip. The writing is terrible, also the chemistry between the leads didn't catch me.

His role and acting in Pachinko are incomparable. It was his best performance so far. Villain roles suit him best; honestly, these roles serve better for an actor's progression.

WYF then told SY that she finds it annoying him to look and care after her. Now I understand why he finds excuses to give her food or pay more rent. In an indifferent manner.

WYF is so in love with SY but is trying hard to suppress it. On the other hand, SY is hurt but still loves her deeply. He does everything to make her feel safe, whether by providing food or indirectly asking if she has work late so she knows if something happened to her. 🤗🤗

The start was perfect. At first, I didn't know if I should begin watching it or wait until 10 episodes were aired, but I couldn't hold back. The trailers were too intriguing. It has a very sensitive theme; it seems WYF has been raped in the past. There's a healing matter.
All in all, the writing, the chemistry between the actors, and even the pace of the progress are perfect.
I sense we will laugh a lot with the second couple; the electricity between them is already high. 😉

What can I say? Everything was perfect—acting, direction, writing, and chemistry between all the actors. Especially in episodes 37 and 38, Che Zhe Yuan showed what great potential as an actor lies in him. For me, the ending is perfect because the previous cause of his PTSD has been replaced with his last experience, the fear of the death of Song Ran. However, their love still holds them together, no matter how damaged Li Zan's soul is; Song Ran wants to be together with him because she loves him, and they elope. As a couple, they want to work through this trauma alone, not being observed by family and friends. That's life; not everything is rose-colored; when you genuinely love someone, you sometimes have to live through his pain.

PS Ep 37+38 were a punch in the stomach, and I cried my heart out. 😭😭😭

I sense, Shen Hui Zhao is pretending having amnesia. Meanwhile he's OK, but uses amnesia to be close to his wifey. So he don't have to admit his true feelings, of regretting the initial agreement they made. 😁😊

I'm curious how DYX will fix it when he wants to get back together with Shou Hua. I hope he will stew in his juice for a long time before it happens. 😎

I just watched that scene. I have to agree with you.
The main problem with this series is the plot; its representation doesn't progress attractively. Then, of course, it's the writing/dialogue, which is a lot of nonsense, as you mentioned the rat's thing. Another example is that she's freezing to death and misses watching a movie?!
I have the impression the actors didn't get into their roles, but that doesn't mean they are not good actors.

I love their way of being best friends, lovers and in between having that kinky talk. I love it 🤭😍😍😍😍

This married couple, dumb and dumber, is lucky to have married each other. Otherwise, they would stay forever single because they have no clue about love matters. Moreover, they should just shut up!

No spoiler, but some random thoughts of mine:
Watching trailers for episodes 27 and 28, I can only say that in this lifetime, SRQ will destroy his family's reputation with his stupid decisions and hands instead of saving it. The good thing is that LR and PWX are falling more in love and trusting each other with every passing day. Something they lacked in their previous life. That will be precisely the trigger for SRQ's wrong moves.

True. I would also call LR's regard towards SRQ, emotional substitute. She and PWX were too proud to talk about their hurt feelings to each other. And both seeing this reaction from the other, interpreting it as ignorance, got more stubborn in their attitude. LR found comfort in SRQ, but PWX had no one. So, in this life he knew his mistake and from the start he openly spoke about his true feelings for her and his intentions.

After watching ep22, SRQ is finally 100% sure that LR also returned from the previous life but still needs to figure out about PWX. He can't understand why LR is with him, as she was unhappy in her past life, so he hopes to be with her soon after the couple has problems. He doesn't know that PWX also came back, and the couple solved all their past life problems, and in this life, they get closer day by day. (The couple's main problem was terrible communication, which led to misunderstandings.) I'm curious about his reaction when he lastly finds out that, this time, the couple profoundly loves each other.

I'm not sure he 100% knows that LR is back from the past. Otherwise, he would have talked to her more openly.
