It’s such a pity that this show has been discovered by so few people, because it’s genuinely excellent. I’ve watched 16 episodes so far, and the GL undertones only continue to grow stronger. If Jiang Li, with her rather masculine demeanor, were portrayed by a male actor, the relationship would almost certainly be labeled as romance. A truly underrated series.
While reading the comment section it make me question that ARE WE WATCHING THE SAME SERIES GUYYYYSSSS?!!!!!! (i…
The actors are totally fine. And I watching it only because of joongdunk. But the investigation line is poorly written. They are hardly doing any investigation here.
At this rate, the entire group will be dead before they even get close to the killer. What are they actually doing to investigate the case?🙈 There’s no logic, no progression—just random reactions. The script is a mess. The writers should have built a solid detective story first and only then layered in the romance. It just doesn't work without a strong investigative backbone.
Unexpectetly good. The quality is on point. The acting is also fine. The two leads have good chemistry and honestly it gives a strong GL vibe. All in all I enjoyed the first 6 episodes currently uploaded on kiss kh. Definitely gonna continue watching.
The final few minutes really gave me the feeling that Jiang Jiaqi is ready to finally accept his and her feelings. They are both free and emotianal stable now, out of the toxic and suffocating circumstances. I have no doubt them ending up together.
The last four episodes had me crying my eyes out. I haven’t watched the Korean My Mister, so for me this story felt completely unique and incomparable—brought to life beautifully by EVERY single actor.
The relationship between Zhou Yu’an and Jiang Jiaqi is so much more than just romance. It’s a bond rooted in understanding, trust, and quiet devotion—a love that won’t fade, no matter how much time passes. They are truly soulmates, loving and caring for each other with the same depth and sincerity. That final moment, when he grasped her hand, felt less like an ending and more like a promise: the true beginning of a love finally allowed to bloom.
I don't understand the guy who she owes a debt to, like it seems he misses her but beats her? I'm assuming they…
Yes, she killed his father and that's why he hates her. But at the same time is seems to me that he has also feelings for her, which he kinda doesn't want to admit to himself. I don't know. I'm also a bit confused, because in the scenes where he finds out about Jiang Jiaqi he looked really sad and hurt. Like it hurts him seeing her with someone else. I guess we will see how it gonna turn out.
Chen Ren played by Zhang Xincheng gives me the vibe, that he loves and hates the FL at the same time. He is hell abusive and aggressive towards her, I guess because she killed his father in self-defense, but at the same time there flickers something else. I'm confused about him. Can someone clarify what kind of relationship will they have? Or maybe it is just because of Zhang Xincheng. I can't see a completely bad guy in him.
I honestly feel so sorry for Qi Sizhe. He lost everyone he cared about — his girlfriend, his college friends — all because of the drugs his own teacher created. At least he still has Han Feng by his side.
I really wish there were more dramas like this. Lately I’ve dropped so many shows halfway because they just didn’t keep me interested, but this one was so good from start to finish. No boring episodes, nothing felt dragged out. And the friendship between Qi Sizhe and Han Feng, and the rest of the team was honestly so heartwarming.
In episode 14, when they were talking about appraise the paintings, it would be cool if we could get Shen Yi (Under the skin) cameo. The both series have kinda the same cinematography and vibes. So it would fit perfectly. Just wishing... 🫠
This is definitely not just friendship. You can clearly see the tension.
