I can't believe there is only one episode left... I feel like there are a lot of things that are still unresolved, how will everything get resolved in one hour? Season 3 maybe? Either that or everything will be rushed and that would be a shame, this is such a quality series... We will see tomorrow I guess P.S.: loved the interactions between In Bom and Woo Jin, I wanted to see more!
I really want to watch the Fiery Priest, but for a reason I can't fathom I am hesitant to do so... This drama was in my recommendations after I gave a 10/10 to Chief Kim and Life on Mars. I need to be convinced though.
Only two episodes left... *sigh* I adore season 2, everything about it is awesome. I really like Cha Eun Jae, her character tended to annoy me at the beginning, but she had a great development throughout the entire series, she is really fleshed out now. I did not know Ahn Hyo Seop before, but I am glad that RDTK allowed me to discover him. Woo Jin is a great character. Yes he is the archetype of the nice, competent and handsome guy, but he is sincere and wholesome. I also like that he stays calm in any given situation, he is very observant, level-headed and mellow but not aloof, which are unusual characteristics to see in a ML and it contrasts well with the explosive Eun Jae, they balance each other. I am actually not that bothered about the non-existent romance so far between the two, because they had a lot of issues to work out starting from where they were in the same class in med school, and the development of their relationship seems realistic to me. The second pairing is really lovely, and I would actually have liked more development for them (but I am nitpicking). The rest of the cast is amazing as well, they feel like family really. That drama gives me a sense of belonging, I cannot explain it, I feel like I know each person working at Doldam hospital personally. I am sad it is almost over, but happy we got to see Kim Sabu again.
It's my first Chinese drama and I can't handle it. The fl voice is too much irritating. I can't tolerate it. So…
It was also my first Chinese drama, and I found it so bad it put me off of Chinese dramas entirely (well, until I took a chance and watched The Untamed, I am cured now). The FL was the biggest turn off for me, but overall I found the whole thing very boring. I dropped it too, I won't go back to it ever again.
Season 1 was amazing, but season 2 has managed to step up even higher, what a phenomenal series! I binge-watched the first 12 episodes although I promised myself I would wait until the drama was finished before starting it (epic fail there, I couldn't wait any longer), and now I have to wait for episode 13 after that ending?... The torture has started.
So glad you gave it a chance. I remember reading your comment.Welcome to the fandom :DLet's all suffer from withdrawal…
Thank you! I am so glad I gave it a chance too, no regrets here, even though I am now doomed to eternity, the withdrawal symptoms are real and probably not going away anytime soon TT^TT
It's hard to get over this drama. I know how you feel. I'm glad you have a plan that includes the novel and fanfic.…
I've been watching the BTS clips all afternoon, it is so fun to watch the camaraderie within the cast! Feel free to enable, I am already too far gone anyway... Thank you for all your suggestions, I'll definitely check all of them out :D
What a ride! I miss it already (and I finished the drama like 32 seconds ago), such a bittersweet feeling. I loved every second of it, but like, there is some unfinished business here bro, I need more... I adore Wei Ying and Lan Zhan, they are like my sons now xD The story is absolutely amazing, pretty easy to follow, but with some twists I didn't see coming (baby Ah Yuan, my grandson <3) I don't know how I am going to get over this magnificent series (I probably won't, I think I'll go read the novel and some fanfictions right now) Edit 1: Xiao Zhan deserves an award for his acting in the series, Wei Ying is such a difficult character to play, he went through every emotion you can think off and XZ played each part of the character so flawlessly, whether it was the cute, silly boy or the dark, fierce beast ^^ Edit 2: Never an episode struck me as much as episode 46, that was almost too hard to watch
Wei WuXian also topped my list of my best characters in any fiction/any media/anything pretty early on as I was…
I won't be able to get out of the rabbit hole, I love the story and the characters so so much! And I am so thankful to you because it is your comment that made me decide to watch this wonderful drama :D
I currently watched the first 20 episodes and I am freaking loving it so far. I didn't expect to get sucked into this world as much as I did, but the story is so beautiful. Wei Wuxian is a very interesting character, probably the most interesting MC in all of the dramas I've watched so far. The episodes go by so fast, I am trying to pace myself so I can savor the feeling longer but it is way too hard hard (right now it is 1:30 in the morning and I have to be up in 5 hours for work so yeah...) xD
For everyone thinking about starting this drama or not, giving this drama a chance, wondering if it's really that…
I have never watched a C-drama before, I know nothing of the story, and even though it is at the top spot on MDL, I didn't plan to watch it. Your comment made me change my mind (just tell me not to do something and I will do it). I was looking for something to watch anyway (I still can't get over Rebel: the Thief Who Stole the People), so I will check it out right now, hope I like it!
I am really not into historical drama so I put off watching this for so long. I decided to watch it on a long week end because I was bored, and after finishing it I only have one word for this drama: MASTERPIECE. The chemistry was the best I've ever seen, the entire Hong group really seemed like a big family, the actors were fantastic (even the child actors blew my mind), the costumes, the cinematography, the plot... everything was PERFECTION 8.6/10 is a joke, if I could I would rate it above 10, I won't ever forget this wonderful series.
Season 2 was definitely a step up from season 1 (although I still liked the first season). The plot was intriguing, the cases way more interesting as well as the overall story, and Noh Min Woo! I liked his character so much I actually was able to empathize with him even at his worst and Min Woo's acting was spectacular. The only thing that bothered me was Eun Sol, I mean what happened to her? I feel like if she hadn't been there, I wouldn't even have noticed, which is sad because I really liked the character in season 1... She is like a shadow of herself here. However, still very strong and now I pray they do a third season, the ending of season 2 was awesome and season 3 would kick butt too (And please bring back badass Eun Sol!)
Great one! I love police dramas with no romance. This one is not that different from the other ones I've watched but the acting was spectacular (I didn't know Seo Kang Joon before, he is my new favorite now), the music score set the mood fantastically. It is not a drama about what's right or wrong, but what you think is right even though it might be wrong in regards to the law or society. I'll keep an eye open for a second season, I would totally check it out!
P.S.: loved the interactions between In Bom and Woo Jin, I wanted to see more!
