The killer was going to move the body, so he alerted Jae Yi to where her mother body was supposed to be, I think he thought she would notify the cops, so all eyes were going to be there and then he would move the body. Dong Shik realized that notifying Jae Yi where her mother is, was just a distraction and he was planning to do something else, so he went to his house(don't think he knew that he was moving the body, he just got lucky).
