The manga author clearly FORCED the situation within the story, DETERMINING that Mob could never escape. It was never the protagonist's genuine will. If you can't understand something so obvious, that's not my problem.
I didn't like the ending. I always rooted for Mob to conquer the BL world and end up alone. That was always the character's goal. It's sad to know that he was put there without a choice, simply because the manga writer determined that he SHOULD be in a relationship with a guy. More forced and superficial than that is impossible. It's not enjoyable to watch. A forced "happiness" doesn't appeal to me at all.
Unpopular opinion, but from the very beginning I always rooted for Mob to beat the whole BL world and end up on his own. That was always the protagonist’s goal, and honestly, I prefer that over seeing him get into a relationship he never wanted.
Was it mentioned in the manga that the sensei was a fiancée of hers? I remember reading the sub that he said…
Yes. This was shown in the manga. In fact, he says that he was originally going to be her fiancé, but that her father ended up selling his daughter to Takamine. And in the manga, he even takes Rio's hand and kisses it - and she doesn't think it's strange at all 😶
I can't believe this horrendous drama with an unbearable FL will have a second season. At least God is good, and Inukai Atsuhiro won't be part of such rubbish
i read your comments and i dont think you need to apologise?? the person who called you out by your name because…
But you didn't say anything wrong. quite the opposite. Authors of this type of plot and people who defend such practices disguised as 'romance' are the ones who need treatment. You are not wrong to think something is wrong. It's not because it's fiction that we have to normalize and find this kind of thing 'cute' and romantic
the ending was worthy, although I was disappointed with how several things were portrayed in this version. I missed important details, the romantic scenes were all practically ruined, and I felt as if Inukai was alone in the scene... until the last moment he kissed a door, just as things remained unexplained. the true intentions of the sensei and also Kurose were not exposed, when clearly they represented a certain antagonism there. Who leaked the article about the wedding? Kurose's behavior led us to believe that it was him, and nothing... that endless monologue from Rio, besides being tiring, added nothing. This time could have been used to explain such details... it's incredible how no TV version, whether drama or anime, is better, or at least, the same as the original...
Can u pls tell me what happened? And why did they divorce?
it was out of guilt. because of the article exposing their marriage, there was a scandal. Fearing that this would destroy Rio's career and reputation, Takamine becomes consumed with guilt over his past marriage and decides to let her go free.
But Rio reinforces that her happiness lies with his, so they end up together with Rio going to study in France and Takamine planning to open a branch there.
What a beautiful proof of love Takamine gave Rio when he granted the divorce. Love also means giving up on a loved one, and Takamine has proven himself capable of anything just to not harm his wife. but nothing takes my mind off the fact that all of this is being manipulated by those four eyes. We'll see how everything will be resolved in the last episode...
I completely agree. Rio in the manga is not like that. she really appears to be in love with Takamine. the drama…
Yes... their first kiss scene in the manga is the cutest thing! Rio reciprocates equally passionately. the drama ruined not only this, but almost all of the couple's romantic moments. This made me so sad... 😓
