Hi Everyone. So i just started this last night, and i don't want any spoilers, but can someone tell me if the slow pace of the first episode is how the whole series plays out? I love the actors, and can tell they are going for that cinematographic vibe. But i don't feel like watching a slow drawn out drama at the moment, and may put it on hold for now.
My first time seeing Boats acting. I like him and the song he sings.
I prefer Gun in this than as Techno. For all the people saying his acting was bad especially the crying scenes I think it depends on how you look at it. In some ways it’s more realistic. How many people look beautiful while crying with the exception of Fluke Natouch and Gun Atthaphan. Ugly crying is what happens in real life.
Last episode felt like 85% Product placement. All the kissing scenes between all couples was shocking. If you’re going to sign up to do a BL then be prepared to kiss properly. Saint, Perth, Max, Tul, Mew & Gulf great examples.
I felt like I also missed the moment the second couple actually became a couple.
All being said it was one series at the moment I looked forward to each week. Not too many good ones at the moment. I think it’s worth watching.
Finally a better quality series is out again. There have been some rushed shockers recently. I love Leo and Fiat together.
People saying they hope nothing goes wrong. It’s a drama. Of course things are going to go off track but that’s how dramas work and by the end it will all be sorted. Would be pretty boring to watch a series where nothing goes wrong.
I was looking for a light, fluffy Drama and it’s exactly what I got. Sometimes you need a series like this inbetween the really serious, criminal or political ones. I think the rating is unfair as the show doesn’t offer to be more than lighthearted.
I didn’t find it dragging like many dramas especially when they get to ep 11-14 usually. My smallest gripe was too many flashback scenes of the same scenes again and again, Mostly in the last few episodes, but I’ve seen shows do it much worse.
If you want and like something light and sweet then this is perfect.
I got here from watching Ahn wanting to be a priest in The inside Beauty to a Vampire Dr in Blood to the playboy type in this. He is a very versatile actor.
I’m just wondering for how many years and meals are they going to serve to Tir? Is he going to sleep in their bed? I at least expected he was going to go away once he knew Masuk was ok.
Personally loved Kaeng and Nuea. Loved their clothes and acting. I could seriously imagine Nat playing a sexy vampire with this look.
I’m going to probably come across really stupid asking this question about the ending. I will put it in a spoiler.…
So…. Where to begin. So he died right? We all cried he died on the rooftop. I understand why she visited that place to meet the girl. What I don’t get at all. Was that him that saved her at the end? Or another person who looked like him? The hair and clothes threw me. And if it was actually him why didn’t he visit the girl himself. She didn’t look much older either so it wouldn’t have been weird for him to meet her.
I’m going to probably come across really stupid asking this question about the ending. I will put it in a spoiler. I would appreciate peoples views / ideas about it.
I’ll admit this one took a while to really grab my interest. I did nearly drop it early on. When you’re looking at watching something for 16 episodes you don’t want to waste your time. I guess the male leads disorder made him not very expressive so I wasn’t warming to him. Loved the female lead. She really can act. Love all the side characters. Also warmed to the male lead.
On that note it really started to draw me in and then I was so glad I continued with it. I don’t think I’ve ever commented on an ending before (won’t spoil) but everything about it from the lighthearted start to the beautiful shot ending was so worth it.
The funniest highlights of this episode were Simai gift wrapping a sandwich and then NewYear saying "the editing…
I wondered if newyear saying that was meant to be aired. They are a couple in real life aren’t they? So I get why they kissed properly. But it’s the first time all series any talking to the camera / editing team has been said. Not like Fish upon the Sky where it was deliberate.
Can you give me spoiler about have the main problem between simai and lukmo have been resolved?
I hadn’t thought of the adopted possibility. I was thinking Lukmo’s Mum had an affair and his dad isn’t really his dad. Seeing as though he just left his family. Will be interesting to see which way they go with that.
Either I wasn’t in the mood this week or the episode was possibly the worst of the season. See spoiler reply.
Firstly at the party when they started opening presents and it was taking forever i thought surely they won’t do everyone. Half the episode down they did just that. Then the mystery song about his brother when he literally didn’t take his eyes off him and no one else noticed?
Personally I think we’ll find out Lukmos mum had an affair and they aren’t blood related but we will see.
The only thing I am glad about so far is that despite Phob loving his best friend they haven’t made the best friend suddenly gay and love him back. I think for once, despite loving BL’s it’s not realistic you can change someone’s preference just because you love them.
I want to see more of the actor Tiger.
Both and Newyear are a bit too extra for my liking. Even new years voice annoys me yet I loved him in What the Duck playing a much darker role.
So I guess it’s nearly over. They have quite a few loose ends to finish. Everyone’s relationship/ friendships are in limbo.
Personally, I loved ITSAY way MORE than IPYTM but lemme explain why... So I feel like the "FORCED" happy ending…
I agree. Happy endings are pretty much expected for BL’s. Shows like MODC did destroy me emotionally though, that didn’t deserve to end that way.
I think in the real world the audience would not be ok with them getting back together. As others had mentioned if Jai had returned Teh’s feelings, then what? Seemed he would have been out the door. And Oh definitely deserved better.
I guess for a tv series it’s nice to imagine they end up happy together but not realistic at all.
I don’t think I’ve ever watched any series BL or straight where the cast order has not given the answer of who the main lead ends up with.
I prefer Gun in this than as Techno. For all the people saying his acting was bad especially the crying scenes I think it depends on how you look at it. In some ways it’s more realistic. Im looking forward to the rest of this series.

Thoughts? Guesses?
