One of the worst fenale main characters ever portrayed in a K drama. In fact, everyone sucked except for Baek Boem who I suspect must have been a real forensic pathologist transmigrated to the world of a terrible police procedural. He looked so effing done with everyone. Tapped out at episode 3. 8.6 rating was a damn lie, and I'll never trust my siater with recommandations ever again.

As someone who has survived through the 90s and early 00s yaoi insanity it's actually a breath of fresh air to see modern bl fans be concerned with issues of consent. But as someone who understands how yaoi works, I want to sit them down and tell them that their concerns are valid except when it comes to yaoi because it's all fantasy.

This was a lot of fun. Hope there will be a second season although I doubt it will happen.

If I had a nickel for every time I've seen a new take on White Snake I'd have a million dollars by now. Can't say I blame them, it's a great story. That aside while I thought the story was good, the main leads strangely did not have any chemistry while the second leads had it by the boatload. Their backstory could have done with more fleshing out. Also wtf was with that villain. Literally came from out of nowhere and the ending fell flat but I've actually come to expect that with these kind of shows, especially if they are following White Snake.
