Being a fan of Hospital Playlist i had to watch Resident Playbook.... Personally,I enjoyed watching what the residents had to go through and the medical cases that were shown and the gradual growth of their friendship and professional life.I could not understand why the main actress had to be nonchalant about life in general, because her love story came out of nowhere and added nothing to the plot unless it was with the anesthesiologist...One can watch it without necessarily watch Hospital Playlist but you wouldn't understand the cameos or certain jokes like the bidulgi or the glued hands.Rewatch value is a low.
Initially i had no plans of watching We Are because i was so done with the University setting plus the engineering aspect....A year down the line YouTube short of the scene where everyone gets to know of Toey's crush had me watching the series.I enjoyed the friendship among them....The main couple PhumPeem did a good job.The second couple TanFang their storyline was good,Tan wasn't cringey but funny.Wasnt much a fan of the third couple QToey, nothing against their acting,i just couldn't get over with Toey being a 'baby'.He is uni but what's with the baby-ish behavior...I understand he is a beloved 'little brother' but it wasn't really endearing.Last couple were my favorite overall,Chain being inlove with Pun (his penguin)...and Pun being clueless.Overall it was lighthearted comedic drama.
Kim Min Jun's insecurities makes Jin Hwans' efforts seem small....yet he genuinely and sincerely loved him.Yes its a happy ending but its just not enough.
Honestly this is a good series, getting past the 'surprising' few minutes. The storyline is solid the acting and the kisses are not cringey as is the norm with most Thai BLs.The only issue i have with the show as of Episode 3 we don't know the connection between the characters(this might also be a problem of the version i watched where the translations were not done when the characters came to scene,i could only make out their age and they worked in RT).Sorn is or has been in love with Jun and he is just stringing him along with this stupidity of teacher-student relationship.
Loved...enjoyed the drama, like many hated the format and also i would have loved to see their dating era....other than that,it was a solid bl nothing cringey.
Initially i didn't have plans on watching the drama but a certain reel had me watch the show and honestly it was a good zombie drama. It was both funny and sad loosing some characters...Jisoo has grown in her acting also.
