This drama suffered heavily from poor execution of story. The concept is damn good and would've been great if screenplay was tighter and better direction choices were made.
set design in some post apocalyptic scenes is really good. and the bgms in first half of drama were great. overall the premise of the drama is really good but execution, not so much :/
I found this series to be good not great unlike most viewers here. tbh plot is nothing special revolving around decade(s) old serial killer case. But the way it was delivered to the audience was quite good and there were some nice twist and turns. Plot pacing was slow at times and I got tired of all the posing b/w Dong shik and Juwon by ep 4-5. But that's the type of drama this is. It runs heavily on characters and how relationships b/w them evolves as new information comes to light. I saw this through for actors bcoz they were really good esp Shin Ha Kyun and Choi Dae Hoon. Its much more grounded in realism unlike other crime thriller airing rn *ahem Mouse*. So yes, do check this out if you like this genre.
*sigh* makers went with with this brain transplant bs. Plus its almost midseason and writer is introducing more & more characters and subplots w/o resolving any of former ones.
The first scene of episode 12 in the future is way too long, and in the end, it's mainly the end of the scene…
lol. this issue of future scenes is there since the beginning. they are always too long. a whole lot of walking around and iffy gunfights. set design (of future scenes) is cool but its not utilized properly. like many viewers have already said, its an issue with direction. there's some inconsistency with using gas masks too. they should be carrying around a Geiger counter and always check to see if its safe to take off masks or not.
Everyone Including me always argue that JBR is the real cross killer.. after memory loss he just don't know that…
lol 2nd point about priest murder night is the one I've mentioned in this forum bunch of times but most viewers still think killer is Ba reum. It's total bs for him to do so many things in an hour + faking a broken leg too.
we finally get to know who sigma is as why he is trying to destroy the korean peninsula...
I get your pt. Realistically, the whole premise of MAOA gene concept is kinda exaggerated. also I am kinda worried that makers might unintentionally glamorize psychopathic behavior/character. As for potential psychopath protagonist part, it all this started to happen in last 2 eps. In the first 6 eps, cop was pretty much protagonist of the story.
Agreed. The story is the only positive for me in this show. The directing and execution is especially bad.
yeah they should've hired a proper action director when they knew FL was gonna be an ass kicking, gun toting character. the first 4-5 eps were so bad in terms to execution. it turned off majority of viewers.

Nice compilation :)

Also, I said 'if it turns out to be true'. Even the suggestion of this idea is absurd imo.
