This story would've worked 4-5 years ago. Idk about now. I guess we'll see.
But everything hangs on the main leads in this drama. Their characterization, acting and chemistry.

the premise is very similar to an old drama 'Full House'.

Also how are they even asking someone who has been lazing around in prison for 2 decades to do such an imp and complicated surgery.

There are way too many storylines/subplots open in this drama rn and I'm guessing there's more to come.

I knew Ba reum would start becoming like Will Graham. And Head hunter is like Hannibal in the story.

Mouse is all about narrative trick. It has very little to do with understanding of psychopathic behavior or whatnot, atleast for now.

It's a bootstrap paradox imo. Seo Jin must've reverse engineered the drug she received from Sigma. She more than capable for that. And Sigma took that drug from her in the future before he travels back to the past. There's no point of origin for that drug.
And like the other comment said, Sigma's resources must've helped her tremendously. Also, if she couldn't do it at age 30 doesn't mean she'll never do it.

Makers chose good actors for both versions of Sigma.

Tae sul going through his past memories was a good scene.
I feel like the kiss b/w MC wasn't needed in ep 11 coz the focus was on Tae san-Tae sul's relationship. It could've been done in ep 12 when they were talking on couch at night or next day when they were looking through TS's yearbooks.

The concept is very interesting and has good potential but drama falls short due to direction.

I think most viewers in MDL drama community prefer to binge watch as opposed to watching it nightly or weekly. So it puts them off. Also, length of eps in dramas and animes is different.

Good article. Slice of life is my fav genre. I'll try to check out the dramas/movies mentioned.
My recommendation would be- Diary of a Prosecutor, Black Dog, The Package.

He's not a part of Bureau though. His younger version is in prison for murder rn. That's how he survived the nuclear explosion. Control bureau boss's right hand man read his file when they wanted to get him to talk.

they literally showed that Jae hoon grew up to be the serial killer. And serial killer is not Ba reum considering the Chi kook and timeline of events on the night Priest was murdered.
The only imp question here is- who is adult Jae hoon?

How did President Park knew prison break was gonna happen the next day when he was threatening Control bureau agent?

Imo these 'fairy tales' are the best part of the drama. OST comes second. I'd probably buy one of these books if they were published.

Ratings are always subjective but I've seen a lot of viewers on this website rate dramas either 1-3 or 9-10. Even the dramas that viewers have finished, I've seen ratings like 1-2. If you sat through 16/12 hrs of smth, it can't be that horrible.
I try to check out any drama regardless of rating if I find intriguing synopsis or trailer.

I agree. This is a kind of drama that needs some tight screenplay and writing. 20 eps + airtime of 80 mins per ep is bothering me. Also no baby switch makjang stuff plz.
