As some people said, the series is too rushed.
I mean, in the scenes from the trailer and the MVs you could see their chemistry. It wasn´t bad at all and the scenes standing alone arent bad either. But bringing them together somehow was a complete disaster. How many times does Sailom have to be caught by Kang exactly? Its getting old by now. Its such a shame honestly. I can´t really feel the love because storywise it doesnt make sense and its not organic. If they had just not rushed ep. 3-6 and naturally developed their bond by Kang realising his feelings for Sailom slowly, then pursuring him and Sailom being cautious of his intentions - ep. 7 would have felt different.
At this point, I think Chimon and Perth have more romantic chemistry in real life then in the series
I hope for 2024 they´ll be given a series with a good script and a natural prograssion which can showcase their acting and chemistry

Overall, I think it was a bad idea to let directors write a script and make it the basis of the novel since they´re too focused about selling things and ships and not real chemistry.

I thought the same. The problem is Chimon. Something is off about him in this series. Normally he can be good…
I guess its more the way the story progressed. For me they should have developed the story without the childhood meeting and Sailom being in love with Kang already. Then it would have been more believable

I will believe Kang liking Pim, actually. If only because it's much much easier than admitting to himself that…
The Problem is that this series is based on a novel basically written by GMMTV (its based on the script). So most of the things included is what the directors thought would accumulate an audience. At least thats what I think. So maybe thats why some things dont add up

I saw a summary of the novel. In the novel Kanghan thinks he likes Pimfah because he feels jealous watching her with Sailom. But Pimfah knows thats its not her he likes
Not an arc I love. But thats whats in the novel apparently

Okay, all in all, one of the better BLs for sure, lot of it has to do with PerthChimon.BUT, when this show started,…
I totally agree with the things you're saying. The first 2 episodes introduce Kang as a hideous villain. It wasnt light hearted bullying - he was physically violent and made Sailom lose his best paying job. I get that he sees things differently after seeing Sailoms situation but just pretending like things before didnt happen, makes it seem like bullying is not a big thing , that an apology isnt needed. They should have shown Kangs redemption, feeling apologetic, trying to fix things and them slowly opening up to each other, esp Sailom - since he shouldnt trust Kangs guts that easily

Yes, he said that he once had to sing on stage and was so nervous that he couldnt find the right pitch. After that he was too scared to sing again so he didnt want to sing

The umbrella trope just seems so forced tbh. It’s how they justify Sailom forgiving Kang so fast because he…
Sure. The series uses a lot of tropes/clichés.
First of we have the childhood meeting trope. A lot of BLs use this to say that the main leads were destined for each other. This storyline would have done well, even better, without this trope. I think it just makes it easier for the directors to justify their love early on.
Next we have all those little sequences where they accidently touch each other, eg. the scene in the classroom where Sailom is cleaning or Sailoms tripping and Kanghan catching him. Especially the last one has been used so many times in other BLs and I think it doesn´t contribute to an authentic evolvement of their relationship. It just felt fake, if u know what I mean. There was absolutely no reason for Sailom to trip right there and then but they just put it in because they think viewers like that. So they are appeasing to a certain viewership that only watch for those moments.
Sailom is a strong character, he was able to defend himself in the first 2 episodes. But now he becomes more and more the demsel in distress.

Sailom liked Kang before he started the bullying that's why it seems like he falls so fast.
Its not that I dont know that certain feelings cant be overshadowed. But I was a victim of bullying and even if I was in love with my bully back then, I would have never engaged with him like Sailom does without a proper apology. So I do think those feelings aren´t lost completely but they´re definitely overshadowed by actions. And I would have loved the series to show that your actions have consequences, especially since bullying is mentally challenging. In my humble opinion, Sailom should be more apprehensive toward Kang since he can´t really trust his actions and words yet. But all I am saying is my subjective opinion. Cant talk for everyone though

Some of you need to understand that it’s a little fast because they get together and than something big happens…
I have not read the novel yet and I hope you re right but I do think that the tropes still werent necessary :)

Totally. They could have used that storyline to make an authentic and organic relationship. But no. They decided to throw every single trope thats been already used in the mix. And now it just feels like a compilation of other dramas when they had so much potential with their Storyline

Also kissing scene weren’t needed when they were running from those menAt the end living together idea absolutely…
True. It was just a lousy excuse to make them kiss. For the klicks. Which didnt really work though anyway. It just felt totally out of place and unnecessary

Sailom liked Kang before he started the bullying that's why it seems like he falls so fast.
He didnt know Kang was the one giving him the umbrella though. And even if he knew, if I was Sailom all feelings would have been overshadowed by the harsh bullying. The things Kang did arent harmless and nothing he did as of now could equalize that

the umbrella part is needed just so they can sell it as a merchandise just like the usb i think.
To be honest, they could have just sold the umbrella without the childhood trope. I wouldnt have minded

I have to agree with a lot of people here. The first 2 episodes made me feel like this series is gonna be different to all the trope BLs GMMTV produces. I liked the pacing, the hatred, yes even the bullying. I´m obviously no supporter of any kind of bullying at all but this series is titled as an enemies to lovers one. So thats what I expected. My biggest question here is: Why would a victim of bullying fall in love with his bully in just a split second. I would have loved this series to make the bully fall first, realise his feelings, feeling damn apologetic and trying everything to redeem himself. The umbrella childhood meeting trope wasn´t needed imo. Just like the whole 2 minutes eye staring, accidental hand holding or trip and catch scenes weren´t needed. PerthCHimon have enough chemistry without.
The pacing and storytelling in general is just really odd these past 2 episodes.
I still have hope though. We´re only at episode 4 and a lot more of heavy storyline is coming. I just hope they handle that stuff better

To be honest I was really excited for this series when the trailer dropped and the first 2 episodes were quite promising that this time we´d actually get a BL where the romance develops later authentically after the main issue is resolved. I love story driven BLs where we don´t see awkward tropes and clichés just for the klicks. I loved that they were real enemies at first and that something actually happened for them to hate each other. Episode 3 fell out of line. Its like watching a different drama. And what I dislike the most is the cliché childhood meeting. Can we stop making all BLs about 2 main leads that once met in the past and one has been in love ever since. And don´t tell me you´d fall in love with a stranger just because he borrowed you an umbrella 10 years ago. I was actually liking how their romance would just start without them having known each other before. I also felt like the episode was filled with a lot of random, awkward and unneccessary scenes - and the acting coulnd´t keep up with the first 2 episodes which I think was mostly because of the script. Chimon and Perth can act, so please give them somehing to act
I don´t know how they wanna go from here since the trailer for next episode looked just as weak as this episode. I´m hoping for authentic scenes between the main leads that can make me understand why they resolved their issue without ever falling back into old patterns, especially with the Kangs friends. They just accepted him being in Kangs house even though 5 minutes ago they hated him, tormented him, harresses him and had fun with that.
Weill I will see how the next episodes unfold with Sailoms heavier problems to come since I´ve seen a few scenes that actually pushes them back into these said behavioral patterns from the beginning.

I don't know why people are so picky about the plot. The only BL's I know of with a serious plot that would be…
Well I can only speak for myself but I was really anticipating the drama since the original trailer made it seem like the series is pretty story driven and even the first few episodes focused more on Ayan and his quest for finding out about his uncle and less about their relationship. So at some point the series was overtaken by the romance and them finding each other and the plot which was introduced as being crucial for the series became secondary. I did enjoy the romance, the chemistry and the acting. But the plot was just not thouroughly thought through and should have been equally revealed in every episode since it was pretty much rushed at the end
