The Untamed and WoH really are the best bromances, but if youre into other historical or fantasy, I hear a lot of people like the Eternal Lover series and The Story of MingLan. Hopefully we'll get more bromance dramas of this quality in the future!

Now would be a perfect time to start watching the series since ep 14 (w/eng subs on yt) just aired. The main arc is just starting tomorrow with the hero's conference, and everyone is getting ready for battle. It's getting exciting!

also that the first episode is basically just introducing the main character's tragic past, so no other TW for the first 5 episodes (other than death but its a historical drama so that one's pretty obvious)

I'm enjoying this sofar, just a mention that the first episode should have a self-harm trigger warning though

reading some of these comments making me think that people don't watch that much cdrama. of course the first 5-10 episodes are gonna be kinda bad because of how much exposition there is and how complicated the first arc is for some reason, but that's standard for these? i guess i'm biased because this is one of my fave manhua, but i think it's setting you up for disappointment to expect them all to be lifechanging idk

Good recommendation! not completely related, but this reminded me of the chinese youtube channel Liziqi, which is a popular cooking channel using ingredients and methods of rural western china. It's also very relaxing to watch, with very pretty cinematography.

a'luanruo's dream (dream of Aranya) is the 2nd to last arc, ep 35-50. fengjiu acts as a'luanruo for the entire arc, but it's hard to explain without spoilers for that arc.
