I thought that since I read dream of the red chamber in the past I would understand this story but now I'm just confused. I'm a few episodes in, and the mc has a similar naivety to baoyu but not the same personality. and the fls have similar names but much different personalities than in the book. can someone spoil how closely the show follows the novel? I don't want to keep comparing the two if the show goes in a completely different direction.
as a webcomic reader seeing stephen again T-T im going to cry for real nooo
im only on ep 2 and bro T-T why do they make stephen just like a good kid and he fights so well! hes not nice but has a good sense of right and wrong like :(((
but also this show is so current in its issues like fentynal and mobile gambling and the actor for grey is really good at showing what depression looks like for the mc. when he smiles at the end of the episode you really feel like its the first time hes smiled like that in weeks at least
I'm really enjoying this so far!! the theme of "young adults choosing their own path in life" is written into the plot nicely. and the characters feel like actual people! props to the writing team on this drama -. -)b
now that it's done airing i can start watching! been so long since i watched a youku drama i'm excited. for those who have watched already: is there any bromance/romance plot?
obviously nothing can compare to the original show, but I couldn't stop smiling while watching this ;-; edit:…
"I'm worried about your future"???? noone can tell what they will want in the future!! what matters is your happiness right now!!! >:(((( they shouldn't have to prove themselves to her >:C
obviously nothing can compare to the original show, but I couldn't stop smiling while watching this ;-; edit: except for the scene with adachi's parents that was nerve wrecking kfosigdnsfm
That last episode lasted for 300 years! It just kept going!! Ep 6 was still my favorite this season, since my fave characters are the crown prince and seo yul.
After watching the first 3 eps, I'm going to say you can watch this season without watching the first one. If you watched the first season, you enjoy the story from the point of view of Jang Uk, who knows the past. If you didn't watch the first season you learn along with Jin BuYeon what happened and experience the story through her point of view.
my (lukewarm) takes after the first two eps: I like the new haircut on park dang gu! I laughed when there was a wedding the first episode though, why does this always happen in historical dramas XD (also the crown prince is still my fave character, his dialogues with jang uk are my fave part of the show so far.)
can anyone tell me how she wins the dice game in this ep with her ring? how does marking one of the sides help her?
but also this show is so current in its issues like fentynal and mobile gambling and the actor for grey is really good at showing what depression looks like for the mc.
