Whoa..... idk what's worse. All these brand new bot accounts with no dramas watched but lots of likes trashing KHY......or the fact that there's also twice the number of brand new bot accounts no dramas watched with waaaaay more likes praising and fluffing the actress.
I mean REALLY PEOPLE?!?! Why?? I just don't get why BOTH sides would take the time to do something so asinine and stupid. Just watch the dam thing 🙄

Title Spring Fever Spoiler
I'm loving it, but this teenage character is unlikeable and seems completely pointless. Her competitiveness with…
Her lines and actions feel a little bit stiff and unnatural. Or forced might be a better description.

But character wise..........From the way her parents are, looks like the writer is setting that bit of the story to have that hardcore bias towards kids and teens who are orphans or missing a parent. It's just flat out wrong and I HATE when that crops up Kdramas. I don't mind their back and forth for the moment, it's obvious they like each other but the parents are gonna try to shut it down with the usual "your better than them" or "they will drag you down" or "They're the reason you're not #1". Ewww

That's just wrong and evil to give them all that kind of crisis at the end. Whew..........the dads thing was the worst. The brother can get money from the dad and/or sister but I'm guessing that contest money will go towards the teaching position of his gf wins.
And why didn't this guy shut his ex down immediately about getting back together? I'm thinking the *timing" will be perfect for his surprise, otherwise that's just looks like a red flag giving the ex hope.

I don't think the gap is as wide as people like to think between Korean and American audiences. (And all audiences…
Ohhh.......There are solid comments here in response but this is GOOD. I know I'm a fledgling way behind others in terms of content viewed but I NEVER considered this part here, I like this answer the best.
Your right, branching outside of SK offers the chance to write and tell stories broadcasters there can't or won't take a chance on. It definitely explains the different nuances between stand alones and the side by side releases. I'm content 👌

I've been laughing. His pre death persona was tight lipped, immaculately dressed, and no hair out of place.
Now you can see he's REALLY having a good time with all the previous knowledge, dressed casually for comfort, but the kicker is that hair that's all disheveled and out of place. So when he's smirking and acting mischievously? It's so funny 🤣

Idk about this. As an American , I love Kdrama. It's all I watch outside of sports.
But when it comes to the kind of content that's deemed acceptable to watch and view, Korea and the US are on opposite sides of the spectrum and it's a large gap. It's easy to see why since the values the bulk of each populations holds dear are absolutely different.
SBS and the dramas that will air are flat out going to bank. No doubt about it. My only concern is that to get the $$ that will be available, I think there's a high probability SK's talent will tailor stories to fit American preferences and that is something I do NOT want to see.
I didn't realize it until I started watching older dramas from Netflix catalog, I saw that it's already happened. It's not all bad. It's just that dramas that streamed side by side w/ Netflix have a different feel and taste as opposed to something that only airs on SBS or JTBC. Why? Cuz they have a huge viewing base and that means $$.
So yea, Americans want more Kdrama and It's not uncommon anymore to see them stream side by side with distributors outside SK. Amazon, Netflix, even Disney etc.....are adding and expanding their catalogs of Korean content. They were/are masters in the art of telling stories long before those stateside ever knew. Nowadays, it's been slipping in favor of slop that just sells.
Do y'all think this newest and latest team up will be good or will stories degrade further? Or just something to be unconcerned with? Genuinely curious.

Funny to see this boring drama with forced comedy has higher ratings than Made in Korea.
Is Prime included with that or is it a separate statistic? I really don't know. But I've been seeing and reading articles that their writers are not as worried as they used to be about domestic viewerships if it's a side by side stream with Netflix or Prime. The cuts received from the masses on those platforms more than makeup if it's suffering at home. All about the money. It's even MORE money if they buy a presentation and more than that is if they actually outright commission for something. That's SUPER rare though. Idk though, can't blindly believe everything read online is truth but it kind of
makes sense, then I don't blame the writers for tailoring scripts that have more appeal outside of Korea. That's where the $ are at.
Lol, as soon as I had that thought, it made me realize immediately why Western propaganda has been flooding into their dramas the last few years.

Can't remember the drama offhand.....but it was a genius neuro surgeon and psychopath who also killed ppl to "save lives" when In actuality it was more or less to satisfy curiosity or if they annoyed her in some way? Something like that. But ya,
wife is a cardiologist and surgeon, we watch most med dramas when they air. She rages, picks apart, and destroys the inaccuracies most of them are full of while I get to laugh at her reactions. Let's see what happens in this one.

Nuuuuu! We've got the quintessential standardized vanilla flavored "Friend Zone vs Dream Guy" brawl huh? Why?!? Someone send strawberries to help stomach all this vanilla please? J/k we knew this was coming. xD
Shout-out to the ones below who predicted a fallout on his part from the fangirl discovery. Or at least it looks like that from the previews. These writers are notoriously good for getting us to think what's coming is completely different from what's implied. Let's see what happens!!

And kudos to the ones below who predicted a fallout from the fangirl thing. Or at least that's what it looks like from the preview. But idk, Korean writers are shady. 😂. They're absolutely notorious for misleading previews so let's see what happens~

Before I clicked I knew there would be mean comments about this actress. You don't see it on any other article…
Lol.........I don't like her but I've no dislike for her either. How do I put it.......it's like there are other actresses that register on my radar before her? But I think all actors/actresses have at least a small group of haters or peeps that enjoy trolling just for the hell of it. It's dam near impossible to give clean, honest opinions since social media practically guarantees someone somewhere will clap back. That REALLY sucks 😞

Huh.....someone said down below they're setting the stage for an angry cutoff scene once he discovers she's a major fangirl. Absolutely on point.
But yea, I've no interest whatsoever shipping anything or anyone, it looks like it's going to be a hot mess the good ole Kdrama style. More curious about the killer and why it was done.
Just plz send me a doom truck to kill the cringe the final scene in ep5 evoked.........the hand scene with the ex was also brought up and I agree. It was ........a little bit much. Lol

The son with the cheater, obviously a deal breaker. Didn't like her from the start.

But the dad just trying to move on with life and the FL discovering love. Both were pretty hostile. Were those incidents*get out now while you still can* or *wait and see what happens?* The dad I'm not to worried about. But a hostile child who steals and calls you a whore? Whew. Idk about that.

Uhm Iget having opinions on a character, but criticizing an actress for her natural voice and physical appearance…
I respect your comment.......but it's kind of an odd one considering that I wasn't criticizing the actress. I was criticizing the character and I CLEARLY said that. So why are you coming at me??
