When I was watching the last episode... when she gave him 2 choices. I knew instantly the ending. Everything happened so quickly so I didn't feel the injustice for him. I knew he would choose her regardless.

The gap of 5 years closed in a few minutes so I didn't think much. She only gave him 2 choices. 1 is being alive but stayed faraway. 2 is to fake his death and returning to her. He has to pick her. Everything happened too quickly and it ended quickly too. I kind of guessed that ending so I wasn't shocked.

No, it just ended with him returning to her after 5 years. He talked about that too. They hugged and she said she loves him. It's a short drama so they ended quickly.

Yeah, for a short drama, Tencent really puts in the investments...quality shows. The short drama segment has been growing leaps and bounds. Tencent's strategy is to capture this market and sets itself apart from the lower quality "vertical micro dramas".

This drama surprises me because of its high production value. It's even better than some high budget dramas currently airing.

Anyway, be patient...the ending is near. :) It's good until the end. I promise.

I think it's called Gentlemen of East 8th. I didn't watch it. I only heard it was taken offline because it was so offensive and disrespectful the way ML treated FL or something like that. It was in the news a lot in 2022 for all the wrong reasons.

After watching so many dramas, I'm used to it but it's still annoying...hehe.

I think it's the first time you're exposed to this slap kiss genre that's why your reaction is so strong. This drama is based on a popular slap kiss Thai drama. Even for me, there are too many slap kisses in this drama. They're overdoing it for sure.
