I feel like somehow everyone here has faults in them.... here is my theory after watching ep 5...
sorry its too long.... its just my personal theory rant after watching and gathering up info from comments here... some parts might seems contradicting.... i just kept typing whatever came to mind...
Su Yeol.... i understand the mental pressure of having a killer mother is huge... where she doesn't even show any remorse... but to totally shun off her every move and every bit of kindness is a bit too much... His fear of getting exposed is quite genuine, considering all the hate his mother has received from public and his colleagues and how he tried to hide n recover and built this peaceful life of his.... If it could all shatter in just one go, anyone would be afraid.... and now he is kinda forced to return to her.... but yes, i think he should tell everyone the full truth... much better than if they find out themselves....
I Shin.... even though the people she killed are actually quite criminal and deserving punishment... she could've done something mild, like do some food poisoning or maybe beat them up properly or something like that... but to totally end a person's life... and afterwards not showing a single bit of remorse and even enjoying those brutal memories is tooo much... even more she's now trying to get her son back to her line of thought or what...? constantly trying to make him feel happy over someone's death....
Officer Kim.... she could just straight out ask her questions to the captain properly and seriously...
Officer Choi.... why does he insist on hiding everything so much... if the truth is revealed unexpectedly it'll end up hurting Su Yeol much more...

MUST we assume things about them that we aren't fully sure of ourselves...?? is it that fun to ruin someone's image...?? and in the famous celebrities' case, these minor things can even ruin their careers and whole lives...
And... even if he is holding the script... SO WHAT??? Are you fully confident that you will be able to perfectly memorize every single line.... playing 3 roles... making the right expressions with emotions.... I remember this scene was one with a very heartfelt emotional acting... so WHY NOT applause some of that too while taking out and pinpointing this tiny little mistake any human can make...?
Please stop making the actors your play toys.... they are humans and they also deserve some space...

Loved this drama so much... Finally something to quench thirst after SL... i usually don't watch dramas while airing but binge watch in the end... but here i just can't wait that long :)...
Cheng Yi doing a great job... the emotional scenes with his red eyes make me so sad.... Been a long time since i felt like crying in a drama... and the practical funny lines that are mostly not there in historical dramas... I wonder who to support Qiushui or Chenzhou....
Reminds me of Immortal Samsara, cheng yi played two roles there as well.
Tang Fang brought me a surprise when i realized she's the FL, thankfully not Xueyu... she's much better as an understanding sister...

I had my sense of foreboding when i saw Yiren's actor here... have seen a fair share of his villanous roles.... but in MS he had a quite different pleasant role... feel so sorry for Qiushui... kind of like what happened to Dongjun from DY... can't wait to see how he makes the comeback...
