Exactly! It was unnecessary. And the part where they meet after being apart for so long didn't really satisfy me. The ending could have been better but I still loved the drama though.

I was wondering about that too! It seems like Baek Kyung knows a lot more than he's letting on. The ending of episode 12 gave me a villainous vibe from him.
