This drama has a very decent conclusion. What likeable about it is that all story did not drag out for few episode. All the suspend wrap up in 1 or 2 episode. So, it's not boring and dragging. What makes this drama more likeable is that all character has a proper conclusion and no missing out. At least there is no rushing conclusion. Some drama rush into conclusion and a supposed nice drama turn into a sloppy one. This drama is worth of watching.👍👍

Sikong Chang Feng has a very supported....supported role. Nangong Chun Shui role is far better. He has a more significant role than him. Like him when he wears the pinkish costume with white hair so nice. 🤭🤭 Everytime Sikong Chang Feng appeared....he is either going away or leaving🤣🤣🤣 Well to me he always has a walk away scene.
Yi Wen Jun character is so weak. I nearly forgot that she know how to fight. Maybe she is being in her own cage for too long and is easy to be manipulated. She doesn't seems to be firm on her decision or she just want to go out for an adventures for a few years then go back to the cage. What her father said was right. If she has chosen to leaved then she should not have come back no matter what the reason is. She just can't make up her mind. Whether here is better or there is better. Well, it is hard to blame her too. She has a son at both sides. She is quite pity as well.
Hate that Prince Qing whenever he is on screen. All he knows is cry... like a crybaby and throw tantrum. How can you expect a Prince like that to be a King if he only knows how to cry.

Li Chuan seems to be too 'passive' ( 被动 ) to me as a Crown Prince and sometimes when he talk to his sister....he looks rather off. It's like he don't care about anything. Maybe he already know what's going to happen next. Just let them fight. He met with Qin Zhen Zhen earlier. I remember that PWX did said to LR that they did meet up earlier ( A year earlier ) than they taught they supposed to. I don't know who Li Chuan chose in his previous life ( his father or sister ). Looks like he chose her sister in this life or maybe he already wanted to give up being a Crown Prince like what he told his sister. He just care about Qin Zhen Zhen as what I see now. He is certain that they will meet again.
Qin Zhen Zhen, she doesn't want to be Crown Princess or marry into royal family. I too don't know how she was married into royal family previously but she seems to be very determined not to. She shows some sadness for making this decision to her brother before she left the capital. She did said at least she is not someone lock up in a Palace and she is free to do what she likes. She trust Shangguan Ya when she first met her in the palace at Qixi Festival. It's like she knows her already.
As for Shangguan Ya, she too doesn't want to be married into royal family. She also seems to know Qin Zhen Zhen. Maybe, she knows the Crown Prince likes Qin Zhen Zhen and just want to let them meet up at Qixi Festival. That's why she exchange the Perfumed Concocted with her and little does she knows that they have already met. She also said that LR is a cunning person. I believed that Shangguan Ya only met Li Rong while they were young and they met again only at the gambling house. She too said that at least now she is doing something and is better than getting lock up in the palace. She also did told LR that she need to be the head of Shangguan family in order to help her. Shangguan family have to be in her control instead of her being control and they have to listen to her. As of today episode, Lin Fei Bai offer her in hand marriage, in return for her to have military power. It tempt her. Shangguan Ya is a clever women like LR. She know this gives her more power and she quickly shut SRH out. Before that, she asked SRH why doesn't he want to become the head family of Su. This make her realized that if he were to be the head of Su. Things won't turn out to be like this. She knows having military power can help protect herself better. As I know she doesn't have this power previously on LR first life. My guess!
Last but not least, that SRQ! Boy! he is crazy and creepy. I don't kind of hate him cause he is more like a leech to me. You just can't just get rid of him. He is too full of himself and still think he can change the history. Don't know whether he is still in love with LR or too obsessed of her. He is like he can't have her last life....now all he wanted to do is to have LR for himself. Well can't blame him as he was castrated last life and now he have whatever he need to have! 🤭🤭He is like always reminding himself..." Don't worry LR, I have everything under control" 😅...So, in the mean time, just let him keep thinking this for a while!
In my opinion, LR is kinda of suspicious of SRQ rather than having a piece of heart for him. Meeting SRQ again it's like an old friend or companion that she missed but she did try to keep a distance too since PWX did warn her about SRQ. They do not know whether he is friend or foe. LR seems not clear of SRQ intention and she also sensing that he is also from their first life. Sometimes, it looks like she is trying to make him shows some clue of it and is rather on guard on how he behave. On the other hand, LR shows much closer feeling to PWX. She trust him more on work wise but still have some trust issues on their love life. Maybe she has given too much love out on her first life and it hurts her deeply. So now, she is careful on not showing her love easily to anyone. Zhao Jin Mai is doing a great job in her character. It is not easy to act in such a complex character.
