I think this drama is really good at ending / stopping at the most important scene or part. Then it makes u keep thinking about tomorrow episode. They have been talking about the wedding for so many episode and finally today is the day and then it ended😬
SML is really something. This time his character change to a rich guy.🤭 The last time I saw his drama was in The Good Partner and I really hate his character. Then they suddenly turn him into a very good person at the very end of the episode. Here he portraits this type of superiority character again. I was hoping he would be different here. He made made me really dislike him. Must said that he is very successful in his protraits.
This drama keeps getting better and better for the time being. XG's college / uni friends is toxic. Maybe only one of the girl really treat XG as friend. They don't even bother to call and check up on XG when Ye Rong put the blame on her. Is that what you call friends for so many years. Besides, they just brush everything off when the truth were exposed. Making it like nothing happen and they keep telling XG don't take it to the heart.
ZX is really a egoistic fellow. I think he felt inferior by just looking at XG. He is like how come someone like him so hard working is so poor and someone like XG which is lazy is so rich. He felt the unfairness. He tend to vent / put out his anger, the unfairness and inferiority towards XG. I do think he has some crush on XG but because of his ego and all those things, he do not want to given into XG so easily. He keep getting XG in check. Sometimes he pretend to help out XG but just to make XG felt inferior too. He is like keeping XG as his triumph card if anything comes by at his work.
To me, XG is not lazy, like what she said this is how she is. She does not like to argue or bother to explain, cause she think it is not necessary. Sometimes she does snap too like how she clear her name on the blame. She does not flaunt her wealth and this is how genuine she is. Hope she can snap out of her crush on ZX as soon as possible. Like what her cousin JR said so what if they are not going the same way. Her sister can always find someone better and going the same way with her.
LYS really do like XG a lot as he put everything behind to start again with XG. He knows what kind of a person XG is by just talking and looking at her. Even though they are not dating yet. He bring out the true XG. He encourage her to express herself more. XG is actually quite talkative while she is with her cousin JR. But now she tend to talk a lot being with LYS.
I like how they do not exaggerate on the scene while XG and LYS shops for clothes. Sometimes they over exaggerate on this kind of scene by making how beautiful the FL looks like while shopping with the ML. Here they just make LYS sat there quietly waiting and make the payment too. They even discuss on the discount they can get by pretending a couple.🤭🤭

I forgot about his character but I do remember that in the novel he was the first to get married with Xu PingTing before XJ and He Yan do. Cause I read the novel back few years ago. He also give up YingXiang to the Crown Prince. Besides, if I am right YingXiang do not know how to fight in the novel and she is said to be very beautiful in the novel. That is why Xu PingTing hated her. Here in drama were different. Drama version is very different which I do enjoy too. I treated as a new version of it.
That CZ is really getting on my bad side. He is everywhere!!!!😬😬 I can't bring myself to like his character. Which means the actor is really doing a good job portraying CZ. He is actually better in the novel. So, better for him to stay in the novel for less annoying. He RuFei is another one. My....the way he begged Chanc. Xu is really an art. His ugly face is so difficult to swallow. But he was high and mighty infront of others. Sometimes, I find him funny. He always do the action of cutting off people's head.🤭🤭🤭

Agreed! XJ was nearly a flawless character. Like u mention, the confrontation was so well written in the novel. It was so touching at that part. I actually read that part for several times. Because the story changes in the drama and maybe it was a drama thingy to create the tension between the leads. Still I do enjoy the drama but hopefully or at least they will make it lovely and not just a simple explanation. Because after this part, they have more bond and XJ become more and more protective towards HY. Not to mention, this is where they start to have lovely bantering. They even banter in the middle of the night in the street while everybody were asleep and it was heavy snow too. That part was so funny when XJ catches HY in a dark night outfit.
Some misunderstanding is coming up. In the novel, they do not have any misunderstanding or cooling off period. I think it is a drama things. They often made the lead to have misunderstanding when they finally in great relationship to make viewers anxious. Hope they solve it nicely. Cause in the novel, the duel scene between them become very touching. What written in the novel was so good.

The FL and ML are doing great. Today's episode made me really miss Lin Shuanghe's character. He is one of the favourite. Besides, Chiwu and Qingmei. Lin Shuanghe always banter with Xiao Jue about He Yan. It makes Xiao Jue to realize more and more of his feelings towards He Yan. It's funny how Lin Shuanghe have to banter with Xiao Jue and He Yan at the same time. While trying to kick Chu Zhao out of the story.😅 He is one of the best buddy. One of my favourite ark is coming tomorrow. I hope they don't cut out the thing about 'Spring Painting's. It's one of the funny part about how Xiao Jue and He Yan banter and think about the 'Spring Painting'. Looking forward to when they are really a couple and the bantering start.
So far, the pacing of the drama is so good. It's like everything clear up and off to the next case without dragging or dubbing. Like how they picture Yan Chi jump into the water / whirlpool to save Qin Wan without any hesitation or a single minute waste. This clearly show us how much he loves or important is Qin Wan in his heart. This made his confession towards Qin Wan more powerful. We can actually feel his sincerity.
I must said, apart from Landy Li' s great acting. She also has a very beautiful smile. When she smile widely. It's like the whole universe follow her into smiling.
