I see that everyone is liking the drama, but I feel like the first 4 episodes were so weak? It's filmed in a way that makes the watcher feel distanced from the characters. Even the first episode didn't make me feel particularly sad for the FL. And the worst part if deefinitely the ML 😂 he is trying sooo hard to be Xiao Heng from the double and it's really not working out for him. I don't think that the problem is the genre or that the revenge/reincarnation trope is overdone. What bothers is me that everyone is trying to create the same kinds of character when there is soo much potential. I've read three books by this author and they are all so good.
This is one of the best cdramas ever made. Do NOT hesitate to watch it. If this show was well subbed, it would certainly receive an extremely high rating. 81 episodes go by in seconds, but you will be left with the desire for more
If you want to be obsessed and try to binge 60 episodes in one night and cry after - Eternal Love. If you want a beautiful story about a smart FL that takes what she wants - Yanxi Palace. Love and Redemption is AMAZING in the first episodes but I dropped it at the 40th because the misunderstandings are extremely annoying
