Just about the same time that 'The Whisperer' went off the rails and we didn't get the finale. 😫 I hope Fluke finally got paid his salary for it by now. . .most didn't. 💸💸💸😠
Seeing 24 episodes for this one seems like a lot, but it is exactly what I had been looking for in other series and I'm hoping for all the best here. 🪄🔮
We all have our own Top 5 List of shows (we might be thinking of the same ones) 😝🤢. . .where we got to Episode 9 and were like, "Please, just get this over and done with". 😑
The majority of them, though, had me wishing for 6 more episodes just to keep the momentum and the feels going, to fill in some glaring plot-holes in the story, or just to see the side couple shirtless again. 😆
I lost count of how many times I got attached to one of the :19 minute shows from South Korea and wanted to see more character development and another 5 hours' worth of the story. 🎞️😬🎞️ If 'The Eighth Sense' was still on the air, they'd be on Episode #91 and I'd still be watching it. 👨🏽👦🏽
Taiwan, too. . .if 'Kiseki : Dear to Me' was still on, I'd be tuning in for Episode #68 by now, and still looking forward to seeing the latest of the strawberry cakes and Ai Di's sweaters. 🧁👕😆
I'm willing to see where 24 episodes of this series will take us. Force and Book are definitely positive reinforcements for finding out. 🏆 I could watch Force just carry Book around on his shoulders while grocery shopping. . .and I'd be a happy viewer for :53 minutes. 🥰 This show could continue to surprise us all in a good way. 😁
Thank you, screenwriters, for supplying the angst and torment for only :11 minutes instead of letting it go for the usual two full episodes. . . 😧😭😨😬😳🥺

I do agree with what someone posted much earlier, though. . .🤔 It will be nice in the future to see Earth in a role where he finally has a supportive Dad who isn't completely toxic throughout the series. 👿😫👿

The high point for me in the episode was seeing Earth and Sammy acting together in several scenes. 🥰🥰🥰 It has been forever since I've seen both of them where it did not involve a dance rehearsal, or a fan meet in Japan or Macau. ✈️🕺🏽💃🏽✈️ Seeing them anywhere is great, but having them here in the same scenes was nice. 😁

Ryo having to throw himself under a bus with his status at the law firm to side with Haruto when and if charges are filed with the real estate scam case. 😬 I think, when pressed to make a decision, Ryo would rather switch than fight and take Haruto over his career in law. 💖
The Underworld syndicate is likely to out Haruto in the real estate scam. . .just to get even with the way he turned against them. 🥷🏽🥷🏽🧑🏽💼🧑🏽💼🥷🏽🥷🏽 Ryo and Haruto escaped from their clutches, but they are still out there. . .👿
If Ryo is offered an office in New York, we could get a badly placed, "We need to put our relationship on hold for two or three years while I go overseas". 😨💔😨 However, Ryo has money, and Haruto now sees Ryo as a family he never had. . .so the puppy would be packing a suitcase for New York, too. 😆 . . .and escape extradition charges for the real estate case. . .👨🏽⚖️
These episodes are so short. . .whatever unfolds next week will happen fast. By the end of this series, Ryo and Haruto could both be practicing law together (from Haruto's quick reading of Ryo's book collection). . .or they could both be in semi-retirement living off of Ryo's severance package. . .and whatever Haruto wishes to do for his merry band of succulents. . . 😝
I was relieved to see the previews for Episode #8. . .I was beginning to feel like I was watching a 'Typical Episode #11' towards the end of this one. 😨😭😬
I was also laughing a bit at the early foreshadowing of ". . .now that Yada and her men have stepped away. . ." 😄🤨🙄 That was like watching 'My Dear Gangster Oppa', and every time someone said, "We're all good. . .Kenji is out of the way now". 😑
Besides that small bit, this was great episode, and it was great watching Min & Q together. 🥰
With the underlying dark forces at work in this series, though, it still baffles me over the past few episodes that everyone was coming and going freely without a police escort or any armed security. 👮🏽👮🏽👨🏽👦🏽👮🏽👮🏽 Then again, the cuddles wouldn't look as good with two suits standing right next to them. . .🧑🏽💼🧑🏽💼😆
When this series was about to start, I did not make even a remote guess that this was going to become a "Must-See Show for 2024". . .yet here we all are. . .💖🥰💖

This setup so far reminds me a lot of 'To Be Continued'. . .with our main leads coming across early on as the borderline stalker vs the traumatized ex trying to put the past behind him. 😈🤕 It took a long while to get the full stories with them, so I'm settling in here, too, to see where this story takes us. 😁
This series has become the comfort zone for the week. 😊 I don't even mind the "eye contact followed by acapella singing" trope that has seeped its way into so many shows. 🎶🎵🎶😫🎶🎵🎶 After 'Remember Me', I had vowed to hit the mute button if the acapella came back. . .and I don't mind it here at all. 😆
Earth's acting here is spot on again. . .when he glared that jealous look across the campus, I could almost see the laser beams firing out of both eyes. 💥💥👁️👁️💥💥 I can't wait to see this character at ease and not fighting his past so much. 😌 Easter has definitely seen some things in the past year. 🥺
Although this is not a BL but Tay & New are enough to continue.
We might be seeing the middle ground between BL and Friend Zone with this series, though. . .maybe. . .😛 When Peach mentioned, "I can play hard-to-get", I was thinking, this might be more on the lines of affection rather than just winning back a friend. 💖
However (after watching two full series of 'Minato'), I will be happy with whatever Tay and New bring to this show. 😆
Be it for watching Tay and New act alongside each other, or Force and Book. . .I had to watch this 7th episode for a second time already. 🥺
This was a beautiful episode on so many levels, and the way Force & Book's scenes were set up seemed so much like an art film compared to the others. 🙅🏽💁🏽 I'm sure I'll be watching this one again a third time before next Wednesday's show. 🥰
