The plot aside, I am in episode 7 too. You're not wrong, it's boring. It keeps making me want to sleep. And then I remembered following up comments when it was airing and how excited people here seem to be about it and I am now asking myself if they watched a different ABO Desire to what I am currently watching now. You may say why am I still watching if it is boring, but you shouldn't blame me, I waited 3 months for this to wrap up so that I can binge it. But the shocker, I can't even make it pass each episode without wanting to fall asleep.
Another observation, the Gau tou and Shen scenes is balanced. Probably because I don't miss their scenes nor look forward to seeing them. But each time they appear, it doesn't even make any difference whether they appeared or not. I hope my opinion of this series changes, but judging from episode 1-6 that I have completed, it is bland. Hopefully it gets better going forward. When all is said and done, this series is like a highschool or college drama. For a movie one pays money to see, it's quite lacking. 😞

I have been saying this in many of my comments and then some accused me of commenting on something I haven't seen. What you said is what many are already experiencing but majority are still in denial. As for me, I never expected much from the series after seeing trailers, episode 1-3 and some clips. As long as it's from China, romance is not their strong suit.
Omega verse, Military and Mafia bl series is what I want now. I don't want highschool and college life bl. Or office and work place bl. And neither do I want entertainment industry bl like Reset and Top form💔. I want something Original, like this ABO desire.

I don't want the ones that make me cry because I don't like crying or being sad. But if it makes me cry, then they did a good job.
If you watch movies like I do, you will never be disappointed with the outcome. For example, Squid game season 2, I wasn't even bothered with the ending, it is what it is at the end of the day😊
