No way does the lead look in his middle forties. Hao is very attractive and appears to be about 30 or so. Yan is older than 20 for sure. Hao is, after all, a very rich guy, who grew up obeying His parents, and had some sneak time to be with a young girl that he clearly liked when he wawas younger - and so had some freedom, but ended it. Later he decided to marry Yan. So both have secrets. He is also used to being the “boss” in his own way. But soon he will find himself without a wife. I assume they get back together eventually and” grow up, finally, I think! I’m at EEp: 12. Still a long way to go. LOL. MORE to watch! I am loving it so far! Great tension., if Lucy is in a film, I know I will love it!
Thank you!! I started this because people were saying it's great on one of the MDL homepage articles-- only to…
Joanna, I agree with you. Not very layered or well written. Cheesy is perfect. And so over the top. I think that both leads might be representing the stereotypes that seem to be invading other new series. What a drag if the writers and directors keep dishing this narcissistic nutty stuff out. I want real 3 dimensional people, not cartoon stereotypes.
I hear you. I can see the changes in Korean rom-com shows over the last year for sure. I left behind American…
@LucyL Yes! I am happy to have someone who "gets" what I am trying to say about why I think Korean drama series are often amazingly well done. So far... I haven't tried Viki. I should look into that. But up to now, I have relied on Netflix. I have some fav Chinese and Thai shows in my "Home list" as well on Netflix. We also have Acorn which has some great British and Australian series on it , but we dropped Britbox. I have also found some good stuff in Poland and other eastern European series. If you find a series that you think I might like, let me know. Have a great day!!

Definitely on the same wavelength. Got my fingers crossed that we will still get some great great shows in the future. I have all my favs from when I first went to Netflix’s Korean dramas and created my list of best series; that I rewatch again and again. Like a good book. I just finished “Because This is My First Life” again, not long ago. And I will rewatch Extraordinary Attorney Woo ( new last year), “Our Blues”, “Something in the Rain”, and “One Spring Night”, and many more. I also like some quirky series like, “Mad for Each Other.” My fear is that one of my favs will vanish because of the junk that is popping up now. Rewatching a series is noted by Netflix. Rewatching shows is fun, and it also means a really good series may not vanish too soon.
I am now watching “Crash Course in Romance. “ I am going to review it when it is finished in a few weeks. Another guy from Hospital playlist, Jung Kyung-ho, who I really liked in that series, is the male lead, — and a top notch all-round actor; and Jeon Do-Yeon, who is also a great actor is the female lead. They are smart enough to know a good series when it is offered. Really liking it so far. Clever writing can set us up in each episode into thinking things are going off the cliff, and then they surprise us. Great fun. And very charming.
Seriously, critical thinking isn't a strong suit for those who view kdramas and rate them solely on WHO was in…
I hear you. I can see the changes in Korean rom-com shows over the last year for sure. I left behind American sitcoms some time ago. I was so relieved to find such intelligent, thoughtful and excellent scripts in Korean dramas etc (well, okay … not ALL). But way more than there is now. I have spend time searching, in this new year. Found only a few. Not looking that great. Sigh.
Totaly with you, i suffer from ep 2 to the end, no sense, UK was a great Smart character and now? Ten episode…
I hear you! I have never reacted to a series like this before. Ever. Lol. I was just outraged when I heard they had replaced the best of the best.. Jung So Min… who was simply wonderful in part one. She was so full of energy and entirely into the role. She was a joy too watch. I forced myself to watch part 2, but without her, it fell flat as a pancake. Thud! I actually felt sorry for Lee Jae Wook, who had such charisma with Jung So Min, and it was said they had a great time working together. There was no real connection between him and this new actress. None. It made me cringe as I said, to see them attempting to “be in love”. But what is done is done, dumb as it was. Jung So Min has signed up for two new series. I hope I get to see them. If there is a second/third series/part (whatever they call it) of AOS with the actress from part two, I will not be watching, that’s for sure!

Vde: Yes, I am a new member, but I have used this site for a long time, often just looking for full casts and other information. Of course, people can comment on another person's post. But there is no need to start out your response with a rude comment about the person you are commenting to online. Sarcasm and assumption regarding the person posting is not necessary. Have a pleasant day.
Voce desgostou tanto que escreveu um texto gigante apenas pra dizer que na realidade você não gostou da troca…
