Exactly my point.
@ethenpa Yes, it's mega weird how she uses the translator easily at the start and then she only uses it once (and the app was super slow this second time lol).

Wanted to give this a try solely because of Choi Hee Jin, but, from what I've seen, she's playing the "no chance SFL". Hard pass from me

Can someone explain it to me what's up with the Kim Hyeon Min and Lee Ji Yeong ending?
From what I read, he did indeed love her. But couldn't remember her for some reason. If it were in real life, sure, because of the trauma of the accident and knowing his mum basically killed his girlfriend. But what about the half-dead, half-alive plain? Why couldn't he remember of her there? He had no idea it was his mum's fault that she died. And what's up with the last scene where he is grabbing her by the neck?

Extremely disappointed. There were some nice aspects, but many annoying ones as well. Plus it dragged like hell. Series like this one work best when they don't dive into the politics side of thing. Because when they do, everything looks like a caricature and really exaggerated. We know politicians and corrupt people overall do scheme a lot and are slimmy bastards, but shows like this one always give us an almost inhuman, unnatural look at things. That's my opinion. The exact same thing happened in Beyond Evil, which, IMO, is a little bit better because it commited more fully to the "heavy atmosphere" thingy (which was the atmosphere we got here in the first two episodes or so).

Does anybody with sign language knowledge can tell me if in the scence with the foreigner lady they spoke a foreigner sign language or did she talk to her in Korean Sign Language? I don't know much about sign language, but I suppose she would need to switch to another sign language to talk to a foreigner

are you naturally dumb or you just pretending to be? BRO YES EXISTENCE WAS BECAUSE OF HAE-IN..the moment he saw…
Well, his death is in fact not the most tragic thing AT ALL. Actually, he was RELEASED from his pain, from this psycothic love. He literally had to endure humiliation for 1 min, because right after he was DEAD. Do you know what would ACTUALLY be humilliating? Him having to live in prison for decades while the woman he "loves" is happy with another man. No, he didn't get the most tragic ending, if anything he got the LEAST because he died without having to suffer more than 1 min of knowing the woman he "loves" never loved and never will love him. And I'm not even talking about how this person not only tried to kill HW, he IN FACT killed another person. Also, calling people dumb because you disagree with their opinions? Yikes

The last episodes of this show were beyond pathetic. YES literally served no purpose in this show except to make viewers mad. The writers didn't even make him pay for his crimes with a sweet long sentence in prison. Not only that, even his mother's downfall wasn't satisfying at all. A waste of the cast's talent (I mean, all of them were superb) and the huge production budget. I'm sure KJW and KSH didn't know the writers would fuck the script up like this, but glad people still somehow like this since the cast is just so good and deserve everything. Last point: killing someone in 2074 is a new one on me... yet another brilliant (not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) idea from the writer

I'm not saying that the "SML" is a good villain but to say that one dimensional villain are better... is quite…
You say that, yet YES's mother is a much better villain than he is and writers didn't try to make her multidimensional or whatever at all

This is exactly why I said it's better to have a good one dimensional villain instead of a terrible two dimensions one. Just see Cha Min Ho from Defendant. Now, contrast YES to his mother. YES is a pathetic little villain whose actions make absolutely no sense. On the other hand, his mom is a scheming, slimmy, threatening woman. I dispise her because she's evil. YES? I do not even dispise him. How can I dispise someone I can't take seriously? I just dislike him because of how he's written and that's it. He and his mom should simply be scheming pieces of shit who want to steal a rich family's life. If you want to add some dimension to his character, make him fool the FL by pretending to be her friend or something (like his mum pretended to be a dedicated girlfriend). His character simply lost any meaningful purpose it had after the takeover. Now he is simply a device to make the good guys win and ruin his mother's evil plan (and to throw cliche after cliche into the story, of course)

It's impossible to take YES seriously. He has literally no end game. What does he think will happen? Does he think his little plan make any sense? Hope this gets sorted quickly because jfc, what an idiot plotline. I will make sure to lower my final rating because of this when the show ends

Still my favourite drama! Fantastic acting and, IMO, realistic characters (some people can't relate to FL because, I guess, they have never felt pathetic in life). The format is unique and I love it. Also, a lot of iconic scenes between our main couple that make me happy and excited just remembering them

It's an entertaining show, but not that good, IMO. I know BHW and HHI have lost intimacy, but they're still too slow in their getting back together. I mean, they have already admit they love each other, but they still do not sleep on the same bed? Even worse considering, in theory, it's HHI's last months alive. The whole "bad guys stealing someone else's lives" thing has also turned into a big soap opera, especially because the villain is a loser who is after someone who would never end with him. I think the writing is really flawed, especially in these two pints. If they made their reconnecting better and made the villains simply be villains (like the old lady), this show would feel much better and more satisfying (when they eventually get everything back, unmask the villains etc.). Sad because the cast is excellent, featuring KJW, which is one of my favourite actresses...
