Sui yuan qing was most entertaining in ep 24. ML too repetitive acting.

Its a new kind of story telling. The writer knows where to focus and side characters are truly side. I cant believe new characters can be introduced in great depth last 10 episodes. Usually first ep most context settings are done. The holiness secret is left towards the end and not much focus for 3/4 of the show thankfully. Not much suspense though plotlines were hidden so that we can focus on leads character development. How FL ends up more duty bound than ML though she wanted him unbound when she found out about his status. The irony.

The FL character is also unique- doubt any show had such a character. I wondered why a need for such masculinity and she is consistently so all through the plot and even in their moments.

Slow and fuzzy start. Jam packed to the end. Maybe can watch in reverse.

Its with yibo right? Read not much chemistry but i like lighthearted and fun and FL!

I am fast forwarding through princess agent. The leads fighting in bed scenes are hawt!!! Ep 4-5, 44. Shocking haha. Shenli cave is like nth compared to princess agent

I’m surprised we get an almost pure romance xianxia so far. Hardly any antagonism which is a breath of fresh air but worried go stale if repetitive. There is foreshadowing about ml giving up divinity for love and consequences. FL seems rational type so she’ll do the logical but he will make bigger sacrifice for love and protection i guess.

Actually the show is fluff. Plot not deep, camera focuses and zoom in for fanfare. Their gazes are 50% of the show and if without we will wait on next ep for next slow mo. I dont mind but i wonder whether can sustain entire show. Its like eternal but more on couple than plot. This show winning formula is having 2 seasoned actors instead of the usual young ones coupling up

Gah i am of the era of abe hiroshi, sakai masato, amami yuki, kimutaku, tamaki hiroshi, eita, aoi yu, miyazaki aoi, and sadly takeuchi yuko. I consider matsujun same era when jdrama was booming. Now baby takeru satoh is the new kimutaku. Acting i think passable with these new generation of actors but i need SOLID writing. Any recommendations ppl??
